Weekend numero tres on the horizon for Ibiza 2022

We're gonna have to stop counting soon!

Since 29 April we have hardly have time to draw breath. It has been a shock to the system having dancefloors back after so long, but the only way we get over this ring rust is to plough forward. Anybody up for joining us?

So, if you're on the island over the next few days, check-out our party round-up.

Playground: Playa d'en Bossa

The Night League is coming off the back of not one, but two huge weekends - and now its lining up for the hat-trick.

Ushuaïa continues with round two of ANTS on Saturday daytime. This time Solardo lead the line, with Franky Rizardo, Eli & Fur, Andrea Oliva and Raúl Rodriguez. Sunday flips things, with Latin superstar Nicky Jam having a star-studded concert in his name.

Different crowds, but both will be packed front to back regardless.

Across the road, Black Coffee begins season number four in earnest. After previously booking them individually, the Saturday night ruler at Hï Ibiza has finally snared keinemusik as a unit in The Theatre.

Next door, Damian Lazarus is joined by Francesca Lombardo to kick off his Club Room residency.

Sunday is all about Glitterbox still - what else? Week two has Bob Sinclar, David Morales, Dimitri From Paris and Honey Dijon to brag about. Gay star Kiddy Smile is also in town. Disco-spendous.

Classy Pacha opens four nights

Pacha ignites yet again this weekend, rolling four incredible nights in a row - Thursday to Sunday.

Honourable in-house production Pure Pacha kicks things off on Thursday 12 May. New host, Robin Schulz will be joined by Jax Jones, Melanie C and Mr Doris, to mark the start of a fabulous seven week run.

Friday sees the moment we've all been waiting for, as Italian God Marco Carola returns. One of the most popular parties on the island, Music On counts on Blond:ish and LEON taking control of the decks before the main man himself.

Expect the loyal Music On fanbase to be flying in from all over the world for this one.

Claptone's masked ball The Masquerade follows suit the night after. As much as it is about la musica, the visuals and production of this party will whisk you to a place where magic and mystery await. The line-up is killer too, with Danny Howard and Todd Terry in tow.

It doesn’t end there. A super Sunday is on the cards, as Adriatique play all night long. Anyone who has seen them play at Pacha before will tell you it can get quite special. You can pick-up tickets for that one here.

Signs of life in San Rafael

Amnesia was supposed to closed this weekend... but party planners there just couldn't help themselves. After hosting the outdoor stage at the pre-season opening a fortnight ago, Do Not Sleep is back again with a Special Edition on Friday 13 May.

East End Dubs, Sidney Charles and Prunk all answer the call there. Residents and workers get free admission with proof of rental or work contract.

This is a nice opportunity to get a feel for what DNS will sound like later in May and June.

Inviting weather for the foreseeable

After a fairly inconsistent period where the weather didn't know if it was coming or going, we've finally hit a streak of glorious sun and temperatures in the mid-20s. This makes a visit to San Antonio premier watering hole O Beach a dead cert.

After a memorable weekend just gone saw the beach club throw its Opening Party as well as the return of Mike & Claire of MANUMISSION fame, O Beach goes again this week. So grab your short shorts and designer cossies, and head straight to the pool.

Starting with Poolside Sessions, Friday sees the opening of Pool Party, on Saturday it's time to Jack Your Body, before ACES is dealt on Sunday. If you still need your fix come Monday, you're in for a treat as House In Paradise opens.

If the last few weeks are anything to go by, then any one of those dates will deliver. It's been rammed every day.

Late night motives

Perhaps you're a bit of a nocturnal being, or maybe you just fancy a motive to carry on? Either way, Eden has your sorted in the heart of San Antonio.

Friday nights is all about Defected's House heroes. David Penn, Ferreck Dawn, Riva Starr and Jess Bays line-up this week. However, the real stars are the up-for-it crowd on the dancefloor. Without fail, it's them creating the atmosphere that makes Defected the place to be.

We dart across the bay to Cala de Bou on Saturday, where new nightspot OUT Ibiza is launching its club night Twelve Til 5. Resident DJ Antton invites friends, including Andy Baxter, Dr Feelgood, Willie Graff and Justin Harris to join him on the decks. Tickets are a snip at €10.

Come Sunday night, there should be no hang-ups. Back in San Antonio centre, Eden opens its doors once again. This time its the turn of the Jackies crew from Barcelona. Argentine live maestro Guti is the headliner with support from Stephane Ghenacia and Jeremy Weeks.

Not a bad way to wrap up your weekend.

Monday funday

Should you still feel inclined to hit the dancefloor come Monday, Es Paradis has you sorted with a double-helping.

Not only does new daytime party Lotusland start its campaign in the afternoon, but afterwards DJ Policy's You Know The Vibes continues by night. That's Tech House, roof-down, water-on type fun during the day, then sexy, grinding', twerkin' club music to see you through to Tuesday.

We couldn't end without mentioning Akasha, which continues to provide intimate clubbing to a clued-up crowd in the north of Ibiza. Guy J plays tomorrow, Luna City Express on Saturday and Igor Marijuán & Cris 44's Pareidolia is back all-day on Sunday. Tickets found here.
