Party preview | One Last Summer Dance in Ibiza Town

A free outdoor party to wave goodbye to the season on Saturday 17 October.

About One Last Summer Dance

Brought to you by island-based collective Hippy House (the same team behind this year's glorious beachside Feels Like Eclipse Festival), One Last Summer Dance returns for its second edition after debuting last year.

Returning to Parc Reina Sofía at the foot of medieval fortress Dalt Vila in Ibiza Town, this free outdoor and open-to-all party extends the season by an extra weekend. It's the perfect way to wave goodbye to another summer and give thanks to all the island's stakeholders.

There's more. We're partnering with the organisers and our co-hosts theHUB to programme a second stage of music as we celebrate fifty years of Ibiza Spotlight.

When?

17:00 - 23:59 on Saturday 17 October

Where?

Parc Reina Sofía
Via Romana, 5, 1, Eivissa, 07800 Open in Google Maps

If you've ever walked from Figueretas down into Ibiza Town or had a mooch around the Old Town walls from Plaza del Parque, you're likely to have stumbled upon Parc Reina Sofía before. That said, there's no shame it not knowing where it is - it's a bit of a hidden gem.

The lovely public garden area sits at the southern base of Dalt Vila and can be found opposite La Caixa bank.

On Saturday 17 October, this picturesque spot will be transformed into a temporary festival site. Pop-up bars and food vendors will be installed to satisfy those thirst and hunger cravings and, of course, there are plenty of nearby restaurants and watering holes within a short distance.

Who?

At the top of the bill, Manu Gonzalez and Francisco Allendes go back-to-back.

Ibiza has no shortage of DJs, but Manu Gonzalez is one of the very few prominent ones who is Ibiza born and bred. Manu spent his formative years working at Delta Discos record store. This summer, he's been a regular at Chinois Ibiza, including several dates for Defected.

His b2b partner is Francisco Allendes. The Chilean DJ has long been a fixture on the island. He was part of the set-up during the early days of ANTS's success and has gone on to throw parties here under his own Canibales banner.

Next we have Leyo. Hailing from the Netherlands, he owns a signature sound that infuses Deep House, Minimal, Nu-Disco and classic ’90s House. Leyo has already released on Cécille, Defected and Nervous Records, so it won’t be long before he’s a regular on the Ibiza circuit.

Then there's Neliah Kandisha - one of our favourite DJs from long-running hippy party Namaste. If you want a DJ who evokes the carefree spirit Ibiza is known for, look no further, We just hope she removes the brakes and holds nothing back.

Also playing: (A-Z) Cortezz, Davalo, Delum and Rober Peinado

Ibiza Spotlight's 50th Anniversary

When our founder Norman Skinner started distributing printed pamphlets in the summer of 1976, we doubt he envisioned what Ibiza Spotlight would become in the decades that followed. Things have changed greatly since then, but at our core, Ibiza Spotlight's mission has not.

For a business, half a century is a good innings by anyone's definition - and we're not even close to being done yet!

Celebrate our fiftieth anniversary at a second stage of music, programmed by us and our friends at theHUB co-working space. We have Kellie Allen headlining, with support coming from our own Lissy Lübeck and Timo, close friend Midge and island veteran Kieran Goodacre,

Together, we take over the bastion Baluarte de Sant Pere (pictured above) within the fortified walls of Dalt Vila. It's accessible via a tunnel at the back of Parc Reina Sofía and is only a two-minute walk away. Come and say hello and get a shot of Hierbas!

(Oh, and we have also secured the nearby Funky Room for an adult-only after party, where the fun continues after midnight!)

Full line-up: Kellie Allen, Lissy Lübeck, Timo, Midge, Kieran Goodacre, Ilvhann
