Bora Bora and Playa Soleil are invoking the spirit of the old Acid Sundays parties for their Grand Closing Party on Friday 16 October.
Legendary German DJ Acid Pauli (pictured above), who fronted the party at HEART and Cova Santa back in the day, was already confirmed as headliner.
Born in Bavarian, Pauli started off playing bass guitar in Indie-Punk bands, before gradually transitioning to electronic music and its associated hardware.
His DJ sets are characterised by a personal artistic approach that borders on auteurism, often mixing up to four tracks at a time, woven into a sound collage, whilst also incorporating live edits.
Joining him is another chameleon-like artist in Oceanvs Orientalis (pictured below).
Simultaneously both a solo act and a collective, Oceanvs Orientalis is the project by Safak Oz Kutle which topples our rigid view of DJing - and live performance - on its head.
Under the moniker, he takes the irregular regional rhythms found in non-Western cultures, turning them into 4/4 beats with an "everything comes from the east" mindset.
Together, along with the second tranche of artists released, Acid Pauli and Oceanvs Orientalis point towards a music policy that is deep, organic and almost folkloric in its identity.
Newer names added to the bill include Angel Linde, Bohem (live), Iban Mendoza and Sorä.
Cerme, 1ncordio, DJ Strangelove, Hada, Jose Noventa, Kiriku, Sulka, U&I and Manu R complete the line-up.
Aside from the music programme, the party will feature the market of curiosities, a selection of culinary offerings and a host of fine-tuned details designed to engage the senses before the energy levels on the dancefloor really begin to ramp up.
Whilst most of the other clubs on the island have shut up shop for the rest of 2026, the dual complex has had quite a final week.
Since Sunday is has hosted the official After Party of Amnesia's Closing Festival, with surprise sets from Josh Baker and Enzo Siragusa and a season farewell from Keep On Dancing. Coming up tomorrow, its the location for one final outing from fetish promoter Utopia.
