Ibiza club rewind | O Beach

The best sets from years gone by.

For this Ibiza club rewind, we're looking through the telescope at the self-professed "perfector" of poolside revelry, O Beach. Who would have thought that what was once a threadbare plot of land used as a public car park, would become one of the most coveted beach clubs in the world?

With no expense spared in the pursuit of the ultimate daytime party, there's no place that does it quite like O Beach. For an establishment with a global following of holidaymakers to the rich and famous, the poolside paradise has continued to reign supreme.

Whether it's the regnant Kisstory on Tuesdays, in-house Pool Party on a Friday or, well, let's face it, any other day of the week, O Beach's packed party programme is so good is because its been carefully moulded.

Now, let's throw it back to some of those incredible musical moments that have remained ingrained in our brain.

Caution: the following content may have you booking flights to the White Isle with immediate effect.

Amine Edge & DANCE | Kinky Malinki | O Beach Ibiza

Amine Edge & DANCE | Kinky Malinki | 2022

A party that's been around longer than O Beach itself, London-born Kinky Malinki celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Continuing to travel from continent to continent, it wouldn't be to mark this landmark year without returning to its number one home from home, O Beach.

The Kinky Malinki x O Beach residency has been riding high for years, with the brand reeling in some top-notch DJs, each creating an epic soundtrack that fuels the sun-soaked fiestas.

This uplifting, vocal House fuelled set from 2022 brought to you by dynamic French duo Amine Edge & DANCE will hit you in your feels, transporting you back to your favourite memories of the carefree dancefloor.

Kinky Malinki has already announced two dates already for the summer ahead. We cannot wait.

D4 D4NCE | O Beach Ibiza

GotSome | D4 D4NCE | 2023

A new recruit in summer 2023, commercial dance music label D4 D4NCE swiftly became one of the industry's most exciting new outputs. Championing the scene's upcoming superstars, D4 D4NCE throws parties with some of the hottest headliners you can imagine.

Last year was the brand's first year at its new Ibiza home, where it managed to amass the likes of Oden & Fatzo, Secondcity, Route 94, Jess Bays, DJ SKT and more. In a short space of time, it proved itself as a force to be reckoned with.

This GotSome set from last summer marks a new wave of House music being brought to the day club, signifying why D4 DNCE warranted a return call on this year's agenda.

To make your own guesses as two 2024 guest DJs, just take a look at who's recently released on the label, as D4 D4NCE's O Beach line-ups have proved to look to individuals who have released on the label.

Scott Gray | HotBed | O Beach Ibiza

Scott Gray | HotBed | 2022

Although no longer part of the programme, HotBed played a massive part of the venue's weekly roster up until the end of summer 2022. Every Wednesday, it filled the San Antonio goldmine with crowds in their thousands, and the very best of Chicago and Detroit inspired soulful house.

Island resident Scott Gray is the perfect man to give you a taste of what the party was all about. This set features tracks from the likes of Blaze, Dajae & Cajmere, Vintage Culture, Shermanology and more.

Fast-forward

O Beach has made the conscious decision to stick, rather than twist, in 2024. It has virtually lifted its entire programme from last summer and pressed a reissue. If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it - and the O Beach formula is certainly one of finesse.

That means Monday is D4 D4NCE, Tuesdays are Kisstory, Wednesdays stay House In Paradise, on Thursdays we become ON111, Fridays mean Pool Party and Soul Heaven continues on Saturdays. Sundays are once again promotors on rotation, with old favourites Ibiza Spray, SIN Sundays, Boat Club, KISS Dance Live and ACES all back at intervals.

One new addition is Forward Motion, the new party from Kai Cant and Steven Cee, which debuts as a one-off on 1 September. Otherwise, it's business as usual.

O Beach opens proper on 3 May with the Opening Party, has its big Birthday weekend on 16 June and closes on 13 October with its Closing Party. Early season sunseekers can still experience the day club, with Soft Openings on both 26 and 27 April as a nice precursor.

This year, O Beach has launched an early entry ticket type, which means you get more sun-drenched antics at poolside for less money. As always, head to our party calendar to find your dates and learn more.
