Ibiza Town

Ideal for: culture, foodies, nightlife, shopping, luxury, LGBTQIA-friendly
The island's capital is steeped in history, with a huge array of beautiful places to visit. By day or night, you can be swept up by the incredible energy the city holds, and you'll find all age groups here, from families to older ex-ravers who still love all the island has to offer.
It is essential to explore the narrow cobbled streets of the walled citadel of Dalt Vila, which teem with charming bars, restaurants and beautiful boutiques. Make sure you stroll down the lively port and the gay street, Calle de la Virgen, for a preview of all the pre-club activity every night, even if you're not joining in yourself.
Take some time to wander aimlessly through the streets, gazing up at the pretty buildings or perusing the markets of Ibiza Town. For the more discerning historians and art fans amongst you, there is also a fantastic selection of museums and art galleries to explore.
Accommodation within the city itself can be limited, but there are still options to meet most accommodation requirements. Varying from budget to deluxe, some can be found just outside the city perimeter but are still within easy reach of the centre.
Ibiza Town is also a central location to stay, so you can easily access the island's towns, villages and beaches by bus, car and of course by boat from the busy port. Across the water, you'll spot the marina, with dancefloor destinations Pacha Ibiza, Lío Ibiza, and Chinois Ibiza, while the world-famous clubs, Hï Ibiza and Ushuaïa Ibiza, are just a 10-minute taxi drive to Playa d'en Bossa.
Our Clubber's guide to the island's capital city will help you find your feet.
