From traditional celebrations and cultural offerings to live music, a beer festival and plenty of great excuses to be out and about, these are the events worth putting in your diary this September.
Eivissa Jazz Festival
Tuesday 1 to Saturday 5 September, from 21:00

The annual Eivissa Jazz Festival brings five nights of Jazz to atmospheric open-air venues around Dalt Vila, including the Baluarte de Santa Lucía, Vara de Rey and Reina Sofía Park. Expect a mix of local and international artists spanning traditional and contemporary Jazz, with concerts taking place against the spectacular backdrop of Ibiza's historic old town. Tickets start at €12, with some performances free.
Sol Post a s’Oli Fest
Saturday 5 September, from 20:00
The summer concert series Music cycle Sol Post a s'Oli Fest brings local, national and international artists to the San Antonio Bay waterfront. Food trucks and a drinks bar open from 20:00, with live music beginning around sunset.
SAL + | Exhibition By El Rol at Far de Ses Coves Blanques
Tuesday 1 to Saturday 19 September, various times

Ibiza's centuries-old connection to salt is the inspiration for SAL +, an exhibition of sculpture and painting by local artists EL.RoL at the atmospheric Far de Ses Coves Blanques lighthouse in San Antonio. Free entrance.
Ibiza Fiestas: Jesús
Tuesday 1 to Sunday 27 September, various times

Just outside Ibiza Town, the village of Jesús celebrates its annual patron saint fiesta with a packed programme of music, traditional events and family activities. The main celebrations take place on 8 September, with Mass, a procession, traditional dancing, vintage motorbikes and carts, children's games and several concerts. The festivities culminate with a children's gymkhana at Can Lluís de sa Rota on 27 September.
Dorado Live Shows
Thursday 10 September, from 20:00
Indie singer-songwriter Carlos Sadness returns to the bay, bringing his bright, Mediterranean-tinged sound to the Dorado Live Shows stage. Local singer-songwriter Daniela Díez opens the evening.
Rock Nights Festival 2026
Thursday 10 Sept, from 23:00
Following the show by Carlos Sadness at the Dorado Live Shows concert at Venice Bay, Rock Nights Festival is back with an explosive live set, acoustic sessions and its inimitable good-time spirit. As its motto goes: "More than a party. A way of life."
Eivissa Escénica return
Friday, 11 & Monday, 14 September

The Ibiza cultural production company, Eivissa Escènica is announcing two special concerts this month. The first, Faith Converters, on Friday, 11 September, will be held at Sa Caleta Interpretation Centre, near the well-known beach of the same name. The second, Ibiza Daurada, on Monday, 14 September, will see them return to a venue where they have performed to great acclaim on many occasions, 528 Ibiza, situated on the outskirts of the town of San Antonio.
Ibiza Beer Festival 2026
Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September, from 19:00

Ibiza Beer Festival returns to the Recinto Ferial - on the Ibiza Town to San Antonio Road - this month. Beer drinkers can look forward to sampling from among 200 beers from around the world. With a dozen-plus stands, the indoor Ibiza and Formentera Gastro Fair, live music and DJs, there's plenty to keep the evening flowing – quite literally.
Payment is made in “Birris”, the festival's own currency, because apparently ordinary money isn't fun enough when you're drinking beer. The festivities run from 19:00 to 02:00, so come hungry, thirsty and prepared to sample responsibly.
Ibiza Balloon Festival 2026
Friday 18 to Sun 20 September
Ibiza Balloon Festival brings international hot-air balloon teams to the island for three days of colourful take-offs, family activities and spectacular skies. Watch the balloons inflate and launch at sunrise, then head to Ibiza Night Glow on Saturday 19 for a magical evening finale under the stars. The event is free to attend, although flights are not available for general purchase.
Beach clean-up in San Antonio
Friday 25 September, starting 10:30

Help keep Ibiza's coastline pristine by joining Pure Sea Events for a community beach clean at the Sunset Strip. Equipment is provided, and everyone is welcome. Meeting point: Café del Mar, Ibiza.
Sant Mateu Popular Race
Sunday, 27 September
The scenic Pla de Sant Mateu is the setting for the annual Sant Mateu Race, with 5K and 10K routes winding through the rural landscape. The day also includes a skating race at 09:25 and children's races from 11:00, with the latter free to enter.
Medieval Mariners' Market in San Antonio

Taking place during the last week of the month (exact dates to be confirmed), the Medieval Mariners' Fair transforms the centre of Sant Antonio into a lively medieval marketplace, with more than 100 stalls selling food, local produce and handicrafts. Expect wandering musicians, fantastical characters, puppeteers, fire shows, parades, contests and treasure hunts spread around the streets, making this a particularly fun family outing.
