Es Figueral is a tiny resort in a beautiful location, surrounded by cliffs and a backdrop of green trees. The sandy beach is the central feature, where you can relax and gaze out at the many rocky islets.

Although small in size, it is a very popular holiday destination, with large hotel clubs and several small hostels and apartment complexes. It offers the basic amenities, with small supermarkets, restaurants, a cash point, and a medical centre.

There are also souvenir shops where you can purchase lilos and beach toys to enjoy on your holiday.

The beach

Es Figueral beach is a lovely, long stretch of soft, golden sands, backed by rugged cliffs with beautiful views out towards the Tagomago and other rocky islets that dot the horizon.

Its shallow waters make it a popular beach with families, its clear and safe waters enticing for children.

Restaurants and bars

Along the access road, there is a small selection of traditional restaurants and bars to dine in, both in the day and at night.

At the beach, a small beach bar caters for drinks and snacks; and the large hotel clubs offer restaurants with beautiful cliff top views.

Things to do

On the beach, there is a choice of watersports available, as well as excursions along the coast. Also, on land, there are interesting excursions and other nearby activities available for the whole family.

The unspoiled natural beauty is an invitation to get out and enjoy the stunning hiking and cycling opportunities.

Only a 5-minute-drive away, the beautiful village of San Carlos with its charming whitewashed church, and traditional restaurants and bars can be enjoyed.

A little further on, Santa Eulalia, the third largest town of the island, offers a beautiful long promenade, fantastic shopping and delicious dining experiences.

If you enjoy shopping - and who doesn’t? - then a visit to one of the nearby hippy markets of Punta Arabí and Las Dalias is a must, the two largest and most famous ones on Ibiza.

Getting around

There is a limited schedule of public buses that can take you to both Santa Eulalia and Es Caná.

The better option may be to hire a car or a scooter to then explore at your own schedule. There is free parking along the access road.

Alternatively, during the summer season, there are also ferries connecting from the small jetty at the beach to Santa Eulalia and even as far as to the sister island of Formentera.

Accommodation

There are two large hotel clubs with a varied sports and entertainment programme, which are popular with families and holidaymakers who want to enjoy the quiet surroundings and beautiful nature of the North of the island.

Furthermore, a small selection of hostels and small apartment complexes offer accommodation in familiar surroundings.
