Where to party with kids on Ibiza

Top family-friendly parties, events and beach clubs on Ibiza.

Whilst best known for its vibrant clubbing scene, Ibiza is also a top destination for families to retreat to in the summer. Who says you can't combine both? If you fancy taking the kids to check out some of the island's fun-filled parties, you have more choice than you think.

We have rounded up some fantastic parties, live music venues and beach clubs on Ibiza which promise to play host to some of the most cherished family memories. Here's what's on offer.

Parties and Events

Although under 18 year-olds will have to wait a few years before entering Ibiza's famous super-clubs, some truly wonderful parties around the island welcome youngsters to join in for a dance.

With this selection of exciting parties, you won't hear the kids say the dreaded words "I'm bored." We've listed the ones the whole family will enjoy.

Namasté, Nido & Ethereal | Las Dalias | every Wednesday & Sunday, selected Fridays

Whilst best known for its authentic hippy markets during the day, Las Dalias also has amazing nightlife. In fact, it's Ibiza's oldest music venue. Nestled in the north of Ibiza, the open-air dancefloor offers everything from live acoustic performances to electronic music.

While Las Dalias now has it's own onsite club, Akasha (which is strictly 18+ only), it's the parties that start in the afternoon outside that allow children of all ages up to midnight. These parties include longstanding promotions Namasté (Wednesdays in summer) and Ethereal (every other Friday) and in-house Sunday Nido.

These festivals of culture express freedom through music and other art forms. The parties hold a strong heritage grounded into the musical roots of Ibiza and a welcoming ethos that encourages all ages to join the party. Las Dalias is child-friendly as long as an adult is present.

Children of the 80s | Hard Rock Hotel | Fridays

From ABBA tribute acts to golden oldie tunes from the likes of CeCe Rogers and Rozalla, Children of the 80s is the party to hear all of your favourite throwbacks. Dance to the classic feel-good sounds every Friday until 29 September at Playa d'en Bossa's Hard Rock Hotel.

Children over 16 are welcome when accompanied by an adult. So dust off your shoulder pads and dig out your best neon leg warmers because it's time to show these teens how their parents partied back in the day. Oh yes.

Restaurants and beach clubs

There are many lovely family-friendly restaurants and beach clubs where you can enjoy a slice of the famous White Isle coast during the day then some fantastic musical talent by night. Here are just a few on offer.

Sunset Strip | San Antonio

Scattered along the iconic Sunset Strip are an array of exciting free admission bars and restaurants which come alive in the evenings with live music. Each one boasts sublime views of the famous golden sunset, so a trip here makes for a lovely addition to the holiday schedule.

Places such as Café Del Mar and Café Mambo offer live DJ sets every night under the glow of the stunning sunset. Both are restaurants by day but by night bring in a friendly crowd of music-lovers to see top names in dance music take to the decks.

You can choose to pre-book a table so you and the family can enjoy the music from afar with a nice meal and drinks or simply stroll along to join everyone in the dancing on the pathway outside.

Elsewhere on the boardwalk, you can check out the restaurants Monkey and Wi-Ki-Woo. Whether you're seeking a more laid back ambience or somewhere with pumping music, they've got you covered.

Bam Bu Ku | San Antonio

Brought to you by the same team behind adult playground O Beach, comes sister day club and neighbouring Bam Bu Ku.

Aside from Mondays (which are the 18+ Ibiza Brunch Club), Bam Bu Ku is the ultimate family-friendly beachside venue. Children are always welcome to splash in the pool or play in the sand on the interior artificial beach six days a week, while the older ones can test out their balancing skills on the Flowrider surf machine.

Full family bragging rights for anybody who manages to stay on longer than Dad!

Open from 11:00 to 20:00 daily, Bam Bu Ku makes the most of a day in a suntrap location with live DJs, musicians, cocktails and an exotic food menu.

Specifically, parents should check out El Kiddo, which takes place every Tuesday and Friday from 14 July to 12 September. The theme for 2023 is Mad Hatter's Tea Party and includes stilt walkers, crazy poolside entertainment and DJs and musicians playing acoustic club classics.

Tanit Beach | Playa d'en Bossa

Tanit Beach Ibiza rests on the golden shores of Playa d'en Bossa as a divine restaurant in international cuisine. During the day you can recline on the beach beds sipping one of their delightful choices of cocktails listening to dreamy chill-out tunes.

Every Thursday Sintillate brings their resident DJs and plenty of entertainment to this beach club. Relax, dine and enjoy while children have their own menu and can amuse themselves in the Kids Club Zone in between courses.

But no matter when you pop to Tanit Beach, is never short on good vibes and good music.

Many other beach clubs and restaurants have special nights. Tropicana Beach Club has a lively Sunday Tropical Night which will get you moving and Kumharas has live music twice a week and is always a good choice. For more ideas head to our event calendar and use the "families" filter.

No matter what age you are, Ibiza has something to offer. It's part of what makes a holiday here so special.

So what are you waiting for? It's time to show the little ones how to party here on Ibiza.

Keep up to date with our party calendar.
