Just when we thought we'd seen the last of Ben Hemsley in Ibiza 2026, the loveable scamp has reared his head ahead. Just weeks after prematurely ending his NRG residency, the Geordie DJ is coming back to Amnesia as a special guest at The Kevin & Perry Experience.
The Trance night of nostalgia gets an extra shot in the arm, as Ben joins the already stacked bill of Dave Pearce, Lange, Seb Fontaine and Signum on Wednesday 23 September.
Earlier this summer, Ben celebrated his thirtieth birthday here in Ibiza, so by our calculation he was only four years old when the film came out.
Knowing Ben and his tastes, as we do, we'd put good money on the fact he's seen the movie since despite being too young on its 2000 release.
In the past, he has deliberately moved away from pretentious music to focus on making and playing the music he loves, regardless of its popularity. Namely, that's Trance and Hard Dance, so he's going to revel at this night of cheesy, throwback tunes and mad, up-for-it crowd.
Throw in the fact it's Amnesia and all the ingredients are there for a classic.
What we still don't know, is which room he'll end up playing in. Could it be the Discotheque (the temporarily renamed Main Room)? Or perhaps the Terrace? Ben has played them both in recent years.
Always one of the most heavily attended dates of the entire summer, Ben's addition is likely to interest spike even higher.
