Ushuaïa had social media users in a headlock these past 48 hours, as it drip-fed party after party announcement on Wednesday afternoon. Now the barrage of news is out of the way, we have a complete picture of how summer looks. Well, almost.
There weren't any surprises when EDM galacticos Calvin Harris and David Guetta with F*** ME I'M FAMOUS! both got confirmed, back on Fridays and Mondays respectfully. The Scotsman's Fridays have become the biggest party on the island and Guetta remains pure box office.
There was little chance of Ushuaïa's golden assets going anywhere. FMIF! runs from 3 June to 7 October. Meanwhile, Calvin Harris adds two extra weeks to 2023's stretch, running from 31 May to 13 September. This includes a special edition in week two, which switches to Sunday 9 June.
They were joined by heavyweight peers Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (Tomorrowland Presents on Wednesdays), Martin Garrix (Thursdays) and Armin van Buuren (Sundays in September). All get more shows in comparison to last year, with Tomorrowland starting a month sooner.
By this point, the line-up was looking formidable, if familiar. But there was a surprise sting in the tail still to come.
Later, Defected unveiled that Ushuaïa was to be its much-speculated new home, moving into Tuesdays. After five seasons in San Antonio, the world's largest House music entity marks its 25th anniversary with a move across to the other side of the island.
Defected gets an early start and a long summer, beginning on 7 May and running until 1 October. Like ANTS, each date will start at 15:00 in the afternoon.
Talking of ANTS, of course, the in-house underground production with the black dress code is back too.
The opening party on 4 May as well as the second week again expand to become Day & Night editions, continuing at Hï Ibiza after the usual 23:00 curfew. The rest of the season is business as usual.
That leaves a few gaps in the schedule, but if you head to social channels now, you will get wind of an announcement that was released in the last few moments!
