One of the first weekly residencies to kick-off the 2026 season was Glitterbox, as it landed at its new home Amnesia.
Four and a half month later, it's still going and one of the last to finish. It goes all the way to Friday 9 October - the night before Amnesia's full Closing Festival! For its own closing party, it has secured one of the biggest names in UK music: Jorja Smith will perform live.
Jorja Smith is renowned for her soulful R&B jams and being the voice behind many dancefloor-ready riddims.
From commercial hit singles like Little Things, On My Mind and Be Honest to her sweet-toned downtempo creations, Jorja boasts an extraordinary back catalogue of remarkable songs. Now, picture all of that on stage at Amnesia. Only one word comes to mind: epic.
While she might not be immediately associated with House music, her talent and artistry perfectly embody the spirit of Glitterbox.
In fact, she joins a long line of glitzy live performances featured at the party throughout 2026.
With previous PAs from Sophie Ellis-Bextor (pictured above, right), Barbara Tucker (top-left), Revival House Project and tour de force Grace Jones (bottom-left), she's sitting in very good company.
Also playing on the night are Masters At Work, Dimitri From Paris, HoneyLuv, Mousse T., Natasha Diggs and more.
Glitterbox came into Amnesia at the start of this summer with a point to prove.
21 weeks later and that point has been emphatically thrown down - and still one more week to go.
