Biggest tracks of the season so far - the results

We asked, you answered.

As we reach the middle of the season, DJ sets in the clubs continue to get hotter. Every rave spinner on the White Isle endeavours to fill his or her sets with back-to-back bangers, but some tracks stick out as special.

These tunes become summer-defining anthems and we rejoice when we hear them dropped on the dance floor. There have already been some absolute corkers played out at multiple parties with some only recently being released.

We wanted to find out what tunes have been tickling Ibiza clubbers' fancies over summer 2019. Turning to social media for the answer, we asked you what the biggest track of the season so far was.

Here's a rundown of the top selections of the best tunes below.

Robert Surace - Joys

This catchy vocal club cut which samples The Finest by Sos Band has been doing multiple rounds in Ibiza's clubland.

Roberto Surace's debut on Defected Records has risen to become an addictive jam that is a top contender for the track of this summer.

Lil Yachty - SaintLaurentYSL ft. Lil Baby
(The Martinez Brothers Re-Edit)

Not often does mumble rap meets house music, but leave it to the dynamic DJing and producing duo of The Martinez Brothers to create something funky out of this amalgamation.

Released as a free download back in January, it has been lighting up festival and club dance floors since.

Fisher - You Little Beauty

Following a smash release with Losing It in 2018, Fisher returns with another fire follow-up for this summer.

This bass-infused tech-house slammer has been hitting all the right notes in Fisher's first Ibiza residency at Hï Ibiza's club room every Tuesday at BODYWORKS.

Legowelt - Disco Rout (Younger Rebinds Remix)

A seminal electro record originally released in 2002 has been reworked with brilliant efficiency.

This modern and exhilarating remix - crafted by Benny Rodrigues aka ROD under his Younger Rebinds alias - was first showcased by Sven Väth at Timewarp and has dominated Cocoon events amongst others ever since.

S.A.M. - Fury's Laughter

This tasteful deep house peak time club track is a product of Denmark's Samuel Andre Madsen aka S.A.M. Its particular groove and vintage style synth hook has gained it the status as a bona fide floor filler, one that gets bodies shaking every time it is dropped.

Pete Heller - Big Love (David Penn remix)

A true '90s house anthem, Big Love has been revamped for a modern clubbing crowd. In true rave culture fashion, the original was crafted by total accident, following a mess around on an Akai sampler.

David Penn's spin on this classic adds in bass-filled grooves for a stomper brimming with energy that has been pumped out at parties like Defected, HotBed and many others.

Monolink - Return to Oz (Artbat RMX)

This summer melodic dance floor heater from Ukrainian rising underground stars Artbat is a masterclass of modern techno.

Precise and powerful, overlapping dynamic instrumentals act as the driving force whilst haunting vocals add a poetic element giving this track its deep and dark feel.

Peggy Gou - Starry Night

Funky and brilliantly fresh sounding, this disco tune by club queen Peggy Gou emits nothing but good vibes.

A perfect release for the summer, this fusion of soulful Korean lyrics and groovy bouncing beats makes you want to stick on some shades and dance those sunny afternoons away.

Maceo Plex - When The Lights Are Out

Border lining on a Balearic sound with a beautiful soaring female vocal, Maceo Plex has yet again created a track which fits perfectly in the White Isle's dance sanctuaries.

Whilst it uses drum patterns from Solar Detroit and Solitary Daze for anthemic effect, this release sees the artist explore a deeper and euphoric territory, especially in the late-night mix b-side.

Solardo & Eli Brown - XTC

Manchester lads Solardo continue their thundering success with yet another banger to get crowds moving ferociously.

Synth stabs straight out of the '90s and a high octane diva hook really makes this a pumping jam which dominates dance floors every time its dropped. You can check them out at BODYWORKS.
