April teems with a fantastic selection of things to get the island bustling and keep you busy. Thanks to the great weather this month, the island is booming with sporting events to keep you fit, active and inspired. Don't worry, though, there is still plenty going on across the islands' dancefloors, as clubs and beachclubs open their doors for a spectacular summer ahead. In fact, Easter and springtime are so glorious here that we've dedicated an entire article to showing you how you can best enjoy it.
Punta Arabí Hippy Market
Every Wednesday from 1 April until 29 October, from 10:00

Celebrate the first day of April, and the first event in its season, with a day of fun at the Punta Arabí Hippy Market, in Es Caná. The oldest and largest market on the island, it boasts a fantastic selection of over 500 stalls selling everything from handmade jewellery to local produce and beautiful wares from across the world. Food stalls, bands and live entertainment add to the day's lovely, family-friendly atmosphere.
Easter processions
Every day from Friday 27 March until Sunday 6 April
The most important ceremony in Spains religous calendar, Easter is celebrated on Ibiza with large processions in Ibiza Town and Santa Eulalia. With a series of events, marking each day within the holy period, you can join ceremonies, celebrations and the processions at a number of churches and routes across this time. Other villages such as Puig d'en Valls, San Miguel, San Mateo and Sant Jordi also organise masses and small processions.
Ruta de la Sal - Boat race
Thursday 2, Friday 3, and Saturday 4 April

One of Spain's most popular offshore sailing regattas, the Ruta de la Sal or 'Salt Route' takes place from Thursday 2 April to Saturday 4 April. Departing from Barcelona and Denia, hundreds of sailing boats take part in this exciting competition, navigating the Mediterranean Sea.
Vuelta a Ibiza MTB SIROKO by Shimano - Mountain bike race
From Thursday 2 April until Sunday 5 April
Ibiza's cycling season kicks off with one of its key events, the Vuelta a Ibiza MTB SIROKO by Shimano. Split into three phases, it welcomes some of the best international bikers for this intense competition across Ibiza. The exact route is to be confirmed shortly.
Tanit Beach Opening Party
Friday 3 April, from 13:00

The Melon Bomb crew take hold of the decks once more to welcome in another summer of fun at beachclub Tanit Ibiza, on Good Friday 3 April, from 13:00. Their carefree style and fun vibes are always a big hit, as they pump Disco-infused House to the crowds that line Playa d'en Bossa beach. Expect great food, friendly vibes, and dancing in the sand.
La Verbenita Club
Saturday 4 April, from 17:00 to 02:00
Join the festive celebration of music, dance, and community at La Verbenita Club in San Antonio. Taking place at Sa Punta des Molí on Saturday 4 April, from 17:00, this open-air community celebration is free to attend, and will feature fantastic family activities, live performances and contemporary music.
A Walk on the Wild Side | Es Vedrà viewpoints hike
From Tuesday 7 April until Tuesday 27 October

Get to know the real Ibiza with Balearic Outdoor Adventures. Every Tuesday, the expert guides lead groups on incredible adventures to take in the stunning views of Es Vedrà. Beginning at 09:00, the hikes are at a medium level and are a great way to meet new people or create magical memories with friends. with these affordable, fun hikes led by experts. Pikes Hotel Opening Weekend

Kicking off its summer in spectacular style, Pikes Hotel marks this special celebration with a three-day party, from Friday 10 until Sunday 12 April. Ibiza Half Marathon
Saturday 11 April, from 10:00

Covering a 21km distance, the Ibiza Half Marathon tracks a beautiful route across Ibiza, through stunning countryside and past iconic Ibiza landmarks. Leaving from San José, the marathon tours along the south coast via Cala Jondal and Sant Jordi to Ibiza Town. With musical performances and sports demonstrations for supporters to enjoy, everyone is welcome to cheer the participants along the route. Make sure to enrol today.
Guided Biking Tours
Sunday 12 Apr, from 10:00

The eighth biking route in its series, this guided biking tour on Sunday 12 April, begins in Sa Carroca and finishes in Sa Caleta. A 45km distance, it is led at a gentle pace, although some experience of biking and a basic level of fitness are recommended to take part.
This activity price is €5 with registrations carried out at the Can Misses or Es Viver swimming pools.
Bridgerton concert at Teatro Pereyra

On Sunday 19 April, Eivissa Escénica offers a mothersday midday spectacular inspired by the UK series, Bridgerton. This theatrical and visual spectacle will be held at the beautiful Teatro Pereyra in Ibiza Town and will feature a string ensemble, along with dancers and actresses to bring the performance alive. Expect to hear hit songs from artists such as Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift and Coldplay, reworked and reinvented to move and amaze the audience.
Portus Magnus Popular Race

This annual family-friendly race is a great way to be active and have fun with loved ones. Held along the beautiful bay of San Antonio, this year's Portus Magnus race begins from the small cove of Caló des Moro. There are three different categories and registration fee requirements, so make sure to check the details beforehand.
Bridges For Music IMS Ibiza Charity Cycle

Uniting music and sport, the Bridges For Music IMS Ibiza Charity Cycle works in partnership with the International Music Summit and AlphaTheta to raise funds for under-resourced South African communities. Novices and professional cyclists are both welcome to join this 60 - 100 km tour around Ibiza, alongside music artists and sporting athletes, to support the charity's important work.

Join this fantastic hierbas masterclass with Ibiza Outdoors, formerly Walking Ibiza. Starting with a one-hour guided walk, where you'll collect your own herbs, you'll then be guided through a one-hour workshop to teach you the hierbas special recipe. The workshop includes the bottle and alcohol needed, but if you'd prefer to just join for the walk, then you are still welcome.
