The International Chess Tournament Ciudad de Eivissa will take place from 30 April to 3 May, organised by Club Ajedrez Ibiza 64. The event blends classical games played in the Sala Wanda at Hotel Vibra Algarb, Playa d’en Bossa, with a parallel night blitz event in the conference room of Hotel Ibiza Playa, Figueretas with a total prize pool of € 3.000 distributed across the various categories.
Using a six‑round format with standard time controls, the tournament welcomes national and international players of different categories.
The Blitz Nocturno will be held on Friday 1 May from 22:00 to 00:00, while the classical games will be played over the four days, concluding with the prize‑giving on Sunday 3 May.
