Balearic Outdoor Adventures is a local outdoor activities company run by Stivi, a Swiss mountain guide who knows the Balearics like the back of his hand and is fluent in six languages. Andy and Joan, the other two guides of the company complete the trio and team.
Here on Ibiza, Balearic Outdoor Adventures offers a wide range of hikes to secret and secluded spots, away from the masses and into the wild. With over 40 different routes, from nice, easy strolls, with scenic views, up to adventurous, strenuous hikes that may include some scrambling and the use of ropes, Balearic Outdoor Adventures has it all covered!
After finding out about your hiking experience, skill level and sense of adventure, Stivi will then make tailor-made suggestions. Most routes are between three to four hours long.
For 2026, Balearic Outdoor Adventures is one of only two companies that have authorisation to run hikes in the area opposite Es Vedrà with its famous viewpoints towards the iconic rock island. Get in touch directly with Balearic Outdoor Adventures for full info and bookings.
While Balearic Outdoor Adventures specialise in private hikes, tailor-made to the clients' skill set and demands, they also run various weekly group hikes, see further down!
SUMMER HIKING
For hikes during the hot summer months, a swim and snorkel stop along the way is part of the experience and, if you're brave enough, Stivi will also take you cliff jumping. Get your dose of adrenaline with Balearic Outdoor Adventures!
Summer hikes are mostly done either early in the morning or late afternoon, before and around sunset, to avoid the midday heat. If temperatures are still too hot for you to go on a hike, why not try an e-bike tour or a SUP trip before sunset which Stivi also offers?
WINTER HIKING
During the winter months, the mild temperatures and colourful scenery make the Balearics a perfect destination for an active visit.
Stivi can also be found on Mallorca, with its impressive Tramuntana mountain range, a fantastic area for hikes. So, if you've already seen all of Ibiza, why not try out Mallorca with Balearic Outdoor Adventures?
Balearic Outdoor Adventures' active tourism licence is TA-0023-E and Stivi is a fully certified mountain guide. The license ensures that this company complies with certain safety, quality, and sustainability requirements, guaranteeing that tourists enjoy safe and responsible experiences.
