Ibiza Town comes alive every August with its Festes de la Terra, a colourful celebration blending tradition, music, and modernity. This year’s festivities, running through 5 - 8 August honour two key dates: Nuestra Señora de las Nieves (Our Lady of the Snows) on the 5th and Sant Ciriac, the patron saint of Ibiza Town, on the 8th.
To mark the occasion, there will be a breathtaking fireworks display at midnight on 8 August, launched from the UNESCO-listed old town, Dalt Vila, illuminating the sky above Ibiza’s historic port in a dazzling tribute to the island’s Catalan reconquest in 1235.
Every year, thousands of onlookers - both locals and visitors alike - head to the harbour to witness the spectacle, whose vivid colours reflect off the Mediterranean, creating a magical fusion of past and present. For those seeking the best views paired with luxury, here is our curated list of the top restaurants and hotels to experience the pyrotechnics in style.

Where better to see the show than a prime spot high up in the old town itself? That's where luxury dining destination 1742 comes in with its terrace overlooking the port.
In the port below, grilled meat specialists Puerto Fino offer a place right in the middle of the action.
Meanwhile, The Standard Ibiza hotel - set on the downtown boulevard Vara del Rey - is a no-brainer thanks to its stunning rooftop terrace. This year, it has organised a special Sant Ciriac Celebration featuring a sumptuous set-menu meal and live music sets by Paul Powell & The Hot Ice Collective and DJ Pippi.
Naturally, the restaurant El Náutico Ibiza - located by the ferry terminal to Formentera - with its spacious terrace, is another ideal viewing platform. Reserve a table and enjoy their special menu curated for this night.
Heading east towards the upmarket yachting marina Botafoc, we find four excellent choices: cabaret/restaurant/nightclub Lío Ibiza, harbour hotspot Mira Ibiza, swish five-star hotel Ocean Drive Ibiza and Calma. Close by, in Marina Ibiza, dining/leisure venue Roto Club is another optimal contender.
On the other side of the bay, the OD Sky Bar at its sister establishment Ocean Drive Talamanca is another great option, affording spectators amazing panoramic vistas.

Also in Talamanca, bijou boutique hotel Mikasa Boutique Hotel Ibiza offers unbeatable views of Ibiza Marina and Dalt Vila.
As part of its Rooftop Summer Series, Nobu Ibiza Bay will host a performance of Summer Rockz. As ever at this kind of event, DJs will play the latest Tech-House. As well as spectacular views, guests can look forward to an opulent, uplifting ambiance from sunset onwards, signature cocktails and Nobu's classic high-end gastronomy. Prior reservation is required (unless you are a guest at Nobu).
Naturally, anywhere along the bay in Ibiza Town is suitable for watching. However, we recommend getting there early to avoid traffic and - if you wish to make an unforgettable night out of it - booking a table at your chosen spot beforehand.
