Ibiza Fiestas: Santa Maria, San Ciriaco and fireworks in Ibiza town

Ibiza town, the capital of the island, hosts its annual fiestas with a diverse programme that combines music, tradition, modernity, sports, parties, entertainment, and activities for all ages, in addition to its traditional and spectacular firework display.

The main celebrations are Saturday 5 of August, the day of the Virgin Mary, honouring Nuestra Señora de las Nieves (Our Lady of the Snows) and Tuesday 8 of August, San Ciriaco, the patron saint of Ibiza town.

Among the highlights for 2023: 

  • Sunday 30 July: From 19:00 h onwards, parade of traditional carts through the streets of the port, followed by a holy mass in the Cathedral and a craft market at the Paseo de Vara de Rey, the city centre. From 19.30 h, traditional dances, "Castellers" (human towers), "Els mals Esperits" (drumming and fire shows) and the Great acrobatic Circus of China spectacle at the Reina Sofía Park. 
  • Monday 31 July: gymkhana, foam party and children's activities at the Plaça Antoni Albert i Nieto. In the evening, concert by Esta me la sé! at the Reina Sofía Park. 
  • Thursday 3 August: Holi party and children's activities at the Plaça Antoni Albert i Nieto. 
  • Friday 4 August: from 19:00 to 21:00 h, inflatable water-circuit for children at the Plaça Antoni Albert i Nieto. From 22:00 h concert by the Symphonic Band Ciutat d'Eivissa at the Reina Sofía park. 
  • Saturday 5 August: At 22:30 h big concert by Pastora Soler at Reina Sofía Park. Free entry. 
  • Tuesday 8 August: Big firework display at Ibiza Port at midnight (00:00 h). 
  • Tuesday 15 August: Firework display at the promenade of Figueretas at midnight (00:00 h).
