New Year's Eve at Lío

31 December from 21:00

Despite being closed for the latest round of refurbishment, we have scarcely missed Pacha this winter. In its absence, sister-venue Lío has stepped-up to fill the void. After hosting the likes of LiFT, Ibiza Talents and various other one-offs, Lío continues the party on New Year's Eve.

Renowned resident DJ Sebastian Gamboa is on hand for the evening, where he will be joined by sister duo Lunnas. For the full Lío experience, why not combine dinner with the show before hitting the dance floor at the club night later?

Fine dining, entertainment and dancing, all against the backdrop of stunning Dalt Vila - what better way to see in 2020?

Bambuddha

31 December from 21:00

It's the roaring 20s all over again. For New Year's Eve, you can expect a hell of a dinner followed by a rambunctious party at Bambuddha. A vast selection of "MediterrAsian" canapes will be followed by multiple entres.

The celebration continues after midnight. As anyone who has been to Bambuddha can tell you, the place turns into a proper party. To welcome another round of '20s, the theme invites you to hark back to the last century.

Make sure to reserve your table ahead of time for this one.

casa maca

31 December from 21:00

Feast your way into 2020 and then dance it off under the stars at Casa Maca. The picturesque gastro hotel located on the hills overlooking Ibiza Town is throwing an indulgent NYE party. Spaces are limited for this exclusive gathering, making pre-booking essential.

One aspect that might make this party particularly appealing is that there are several inclusive drinks deals. You get fed from a three-course set menu, with drinks included until the bells toll.

Or, for a little extra, you can have access to an unlimited open bar all night long, representing tremendous value for money. Children are also welcome.

New Year's Eve at Malanga Café

31 December from 22:30

One of the more intimate affairs sure to be popular amongst locals is taking place at Malanga. Celebrate New Year's Eve with Melon Bomb's Scott Gray and Ibiza Sonica's Andy Wilson. Other acts on the bill include Andreas and DJ Bebe.

Entry is a mere €10 on the door and that includes a cup of cava to get you in the mood. The party kicks off at 22:30, bringing the New Year in with a bang!

NEW YEAR'S EVE AT HEART Ibiza

31 December from 23:00

Set to sparkle amongst classy surroundings, HEART Ibiza is throwing a typically glitzy NYE bash. Electrico Romantico resident Bob Sinclar has been invited back to mark the occasion, ensuring for a sexy house soundtrack.

No doubt the venue will also stamp its extrovert theatrical imprint over proceedings, with cabaret entertainment and peripheral skits throughout. John Acquaviva, Depaart, Fredelux and Mark Ursa complete the list of DJs appearing.

Get your tickets ahead of time.

Underground

1 January from 1:00

Keeping in its anti-establishment spirit, Ibiza's most low-key venue also gets in on the New Year's Eve action. In true Underground fashion, details are limited, but you can expect the party to deliver like it always does.

Admission is €30 on the door, including your first drink. Keen ravers can benefit from arriving before 02:00 for free admission. Follow instructions on the Facebook event to qualify. Like the venue itself states, "it's not for everyone." Though thankfully, it is for us!

Circoloco at DC10

1 January from 16:00

Tradition sees island partygoers head down the road towards Las Salinas and descend on DC10 at the end of the airport runway. Like last year's edition, 2020's curtain-raiser dispenses with superstar headliner, in favour of a well balanced underground line-up.

Circoloco favourite Tania Vulcano is joined by the likes of Carl Craig, Richy Ahmed and Archie Hamilton. Meanwhile, newcomers Silvie Loto and ONYVAA will also be given a chance to shine. The atoned Jackmaster continues his road to redemption at the top of the bill.

Leave your inhibitions in 2019, this one is renowned for being a party for the freaks! More details on the event page.

Keep On Dancing El Dia Dos at Bora Bora

2 January from 16:00

Unwritten Ibiza law states, the party never stops. During the summer, the concept of weekdays and weekends goes out of the window. Similar can be said of New Year. For the really committed, we keep on dancing beachside at Bora Bora.

The line-up isn't out yet, but in true Keep On Dancing style, surprises are never far off the cards. Who can say when this one will end? If we had to take an educated guess, it'll be sometime after sunrise on 3 January.

MTM at Octan Ibiza

4 January from 23:59

You didn't think that was it? Saturday falls conveniently and we start the year as we mean to carry on.

Ibiza record shop MTM kick-start the new year right, by returning to Octan Ibiza. Store owners 2vilas will of course be on hand for DJ duties, though they might be putting in a call to industry friends to join them. A "super line-up" has been promised.

Find out more on the event page.

No matter where you've been partying the night before, anybody left standing will gather on Salinas at lunchtime on 1 January for the new year dive.

Fast becoming a custom, all ages are invited down and encouraged to bring food hampers in exchange for free drinks to toast the new year. Anybody attending is asked to leave plastics at home, with the first dive taking place at midday.

All this fun should be enough to tide our dance floor cravings over until mid-May when the Ibiza summer season commences.

Whatever and wherever you party this New Year, we wish you a happy and prosperous 2020.
