*** TEMPORARILY CLOSED - Octan Ibiza will not open in summer 2023 ***
Formerly the site of many different clubbing incarnations, Octan opened its doors in July 2019. Remaining a rave heaven for lovers of underground dance music, Octan keeps visuals and entertainment to a bare minimum. It is a place one goes to for the music, so be ready to dance.
Located in Playa d'en Bossa, in the street opposite Garbi Hotel, the venue has a 1500 capacity club with two rooms The Basement and The Lab, a roof terrace, a cinema room and squat-rave toilet block! No, really. The club also boasts an amazing VOID sound system, body sonic dancefloor and represents a great choice of nights for Ibiza.
Octan has recently introduced a bit more diversity into its weekly line-ups, now also Reggaeton and Latin as well as Drum & Bass have a presence. Despite the changes, it's still unflinchingly raw and underground.
Famous for: Its ground floor room The Basement, seriously underground music, graffitied walls, being popular with workers, chatting rubbish to strangers on its rooftop
Popular parties: ENCORE, La Troya
How to get there: Approx. €30 for a cab from San Antonio and approx. €15 from Ibiza Town (see taxi fares). Disco buses run along both these routes at night.
Prices: Octan is at the cheaper end of the spectrum when it comes to entrance. Ticket prices can be anything between around €25 and €40. Bottled water €5, bottled beer €10, spirit and mixer from €15
