Across from the port of Ibiza Town, Marina Botafoc and Marina Ibiza sparkle in situ as the island's upmarket residence for Ibiza’s finest yachts and their owners. A floating palace of incredible vessels, it dazzles both day and night in glitz and glamour.

Jet set holidaymakers migrate here faithfully at the start of each summer to maintain their summer rendezvous with the most famous island in the Mediterranean, with both marinas as their welcome to the island's playground.

Regulars to the island will know the slight distinction between the two, divided only by the small jetty, but each with its own entrance. The slightly larger and more established Marina Ibiza sits on the right as you gaze out upon the beautiful views of the fortified old town of Dalt Vila across the water. On the left, Marina Botafoc may be slightly smaller in comparison, but there’s little difference between what either offers as a gateway to this opulent area.

Whilst the boats bob in the beautiful blue sea, a world of shopping, dining, and dancing is waiting to be explored. Luxury brands and small boutiques offer a shopper's paradise, with both marinas boasting their own exclusive destinations.

Here you can splash some cash at high-end fashion houses, picking out the latest beach trend or outfit for your evening of fun.

Many cafes and restaurants sit waterside, with picturesque views across the shimmering aqua green water to Ibiza Town and Dalt Vila. By day or night, it is a sight to behold, as towering cruise ships jostle for space beside the small water taxis, and speedboats whizz by.

In the marinas themselves and in the surrounding area, which houses many luxury hotels, the level of gastronomy is outstanding. Everything from traditional Italian delicacies to delicious Mediterranean fare. Sumptuous surroundings are the order of the day wherever you choose to dine, along with the option of a dancefloor afterwards.

The dinner restaurant and party venue Lío Ibiza sits right on the harbour edge in Marina Ibiza, and is a showstopping venue for its performances, cuisine, and DJ lineup. A beacon for the rich and famous, you’ll likely spot a celebrity here, or a few minutes walk away, at the iconic Pacha Ibiza.

The club Chinois Ibiza is also an islanders' favourite, neighbouring the Casino de Ibiza. Here you can have a quick flutter before the music calls.

A wide palm-fringed walkway runs along both marinas, with cycle lanes and winding paths that lead to grassy spaces and benches under shady trees, frequented by residents, holidaymakers, and the marina staff.

You’ll find joggers, cyclists, and families enjoying the beautiful green space and children's play areas available here. There are also outdoor gyms and callisthenics stations for those who want to keep fit.

On the other side of the walkway, many luxury residential buildings, the most noticeable being the swirling rainbow coloured balconies of Boas de Ibiza, line the one-way street of Passeig Joan Carles I, with streetlights reminiscent of yacht masts.

Here you will also find a great choice of beautiful upmarket hotels, offering a quiet place to stay but within easy walking distance to the buzzing port area of Ibiza Town.

Get your feet in the sand and enjoy the crystal clear waters yourself, at the pretty beach of Talamanca that’s just a moment's walk from Marina Botafoc. Here you have the best of both worlds, easy beach life whilst still being close to the action of the marinas and Ibiza Town.

If you’d like to travel to the old town, small ferries connect both marinas and the cruise ship terminal to the centre of Ibiza Town.

Or if you would prefer to be at the helm, then why not charter a boat yourself? This is much less pricey than you might think and allows you to see the beauty of Ibiza in a whole new way.
