If there's one thing Defected knows how to do, it's piece together a line-up together. Let's face it, the people behind the scenes have had over 25 years to master it.
On Thursday 8 October, the label and roaming party series makes a final stop at Chinois Ibiza in 2026 for its closing party. The line-up is now out in full and it's got plenty for the heads, the longtime Defected faithful and anyone keen to discover a few newer names.
Already confirmed but still very much leading proceedings are Kerri Chandler and Dennis Ferrer - both of whom need little introduction.
These are two artists whose contributions to House music speak for themselves. With deep connections to the roots of the genre through their timeless productions, they have earned a place among the most respected names all of time.
Seeing them share the same line-up together is pretty special, in-and-of itself.
Sam Divine (pictured below) also gets the call up for the season finale.
She's been part of the Defected family for so long that it's often hard to separate the two. While she's branched out into new territory with her own 555 party this summer, she's always always welcomed back at her Defected home.
Grammy-nominated A&R Andy Daniell has recently taken on the role of director of music at Defected. He's signed and worked alongside some of the biggest names in dance music. As he continues calling the shots from the boardroom, he's also worth catching behind the decks.
Fellow staffer Lloyd Nwagboso joins the bill too. As Defected's head of bookings, he's another one of the people working behind the scenes to make these line-ups happen. Now he too steps out from behind the curtain to jump on the ones and twos himself.
Someone newer to the Defected set-up is Joëlla Jackson (pictured top).
The Dutch selector was highlighted as an emerging talent ahead of appearing at Defected's Croatian excursion this August. With a sound more rooted in Tech House, sharing a bill with DJs of the above calibre is a great opportunity to spread her sound to an even wider audience.
Defected has always mastered balancing House music royalty with DJs who are helping shape what's next. The closing is a prime example of that.
