Admit it! Whether you consider yourself a casual clubber or a seasoned pro, everybody likes to let rip and join in with the chorus of their favourite tracks. Once in a while, at least. If vocals are what you seek, then Sonny Fodera's Monday nights at Pacha should be firmly on your radar.
While a lot of Ibiza parties have male-dominated dancefloors (not that there's anything wrong with that, per se), Sonny Fodera's crowd swings the other way. The ladies visibly outnumber the guys - and that's thanks to the unpretentious, accessible nature of the music on offer.

If you want to test your vocal chords and sing along to the best chart-ready House music currently doing the rounds, Monday at Pacha are a guaranteed win. You'll find new music, old music and even some that fits somewhere between the two. Who likes a cheeky sample?
Following a recent visit, here are five reworked classics we heard on Sonny Fodera's dancefloor.
5 reworked classics we heard on Sonny Fodera's dancefloor
1. MK | Burning (Hot Since 82 Edit)
(original released in 1991)
With a new studio album on its way, Hot Since 82 is in a sensational streak of creativity. This secret weapon edit is only on the USBs of a select few and isn't available to stream in any of the usual places, so you'll have to settle for the Vibe Mix and trust us that the HS82 edit goes off!
2. Franky Wah | I'm Watching You (So Many Times)
(original released by Gadjo in 2005)
Franky Wah isn't afraid to touch some of dance music's most sacred tracks. He famously did an above stellar job on bringing Olive's You're Not Alone up to date. Gracing Armada, here he next tackles Gadjo's I'm Watching You with a similar faithful edit that shouldn't upset the old guard.
3. Indeep | Last Night A DJ Saved My Life (George Smeddles In Ass Edit)
(original released in 1982)
Depending on your age, this one could conceivably be from your parents' era!
Ever since it was first released in the early '80s, Indeep's Last Night a DJ Saved My Life has been turning dancefloors on its head. We're confident the original can still cause ructions in the club, but such a bona fide classic warrants a modern retelling for contemporary audiences.
We're sure there was an army of potential suitors lined up to give this a go. But in this case, it's George Smeddles who delivers the goods.
4. HUGEL & Solto | Jamaican (Bam, Bam)
(Bam, Bam by Sister Nancy released in 1982)
Sister Nancy's vocal transcends generations - that's just how timeless it is. Therefore, it was a bit of a cheat code for HUGEL to build his latest track around the catchy hook. Further proof that dance music doesn't need to be complicated to find success. It just needs to get you dancing!
5. Kings Of Tomorrow | Finally (Sonny Fodera Remix)
(original released in 2000)
This low-slung, sleazy remix from the host himself was typical of the 2014 era from which it was taken. It's one of the standout moments in Sonny's entry into the Deep, Down & Defected mix series and still sounds so fresh today.
Unsurprising, really, given the recent revival of the Deep House sound.
If you want to hear any of the above, along with all the latest commercial House hits and further tracks taken from Sonny Fodera's enviable discography, you know what you need to do: head down to Pacha on Monday nights.
Fortunately, you still have fourteen more opportunities (plus a bonus daytime at sister-venue Destino Five Ibiza) left this summer.
