Staff picks: Top five DJ sets to catch on Ibiza in September picked by Lissy Lü

The last full month of summer 2026 is looking spicy.

September on Ibiza is a funny one. The "summer holiday crowd" start to thin out, the temperatures become a little kinder and suddenly there’s a bit more breathing space on dancefloor. But rather than dip, the parties are taken to the next level. This is clubber's season.

September is the last full month of summer. With October looming, before we know it, we'll be packing up our life and wondering where the last five months went. Really, there’s only one thing to do: give September everything you’ve got.

I’ve had a good look through our trusted party calendar and these are the five DJ sets I’ll be making a beeline for this month.

Lightleak | Paradise | [UNVRS]

Wednesday 9 September

I first met Lightleak at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) last year. At the time I knew very little about the wizardry he was getting up to in the studio. Since then, he’s become a name I’ve watched quietly bubbling away in the background. Now he's popping up in all the right places.

Originally from California but now honing his craft in Amsterdam, Lightleak has been putting in some serious studio hours. He's landed releases on Nervous, Nothing Else Matters, Three Six Zero and more. Only now, the fruits of his graft are starting to show on dancefloors.

He’s going to be huge and he’s bagged himself a Paradise slot in [UNVRS]'s Wild Comet to showcase his sound. He’s definitely worth checking out, as I think you'll be seeing a lot more of him in 2027.

Brunello | Baddest Behaviour | Pacha

Wednesday 9 September

Brunello is easily one of my favourite artists right now.

He seems to have appeared from absolutely nowhere this year and, suddenly, he’s everywhere - not that I'm complaining. Venezuelan-born and US-based, the man behind Mellow Circus Records has carved out a sound that brings a proper Deep House flavour back to the fore.

His recent run has included a Solid Grooves debut and a Space Miami takeover. Now with a serious fanbase behind him (I count myself firmly among them), I’ll definitely be heading to Pacha to see him play before Mau P at Baddest Behaviour.

Shanti Celeste b2b Peach | Josh Baker presents You&Me | Amnesia

Thursday 10 September

Now this is a back-to-back. Shanti Celeste and Peach are two selectors I could happily listen to for hours individually, so putting them together is a pretty tasty prospect.

The Chilean-born, UK-based Shanti and Canadian Peach have long been connected through the same underground circles. Shanti runs Peach Discs, which, despite the slightly confusing name, is actually her label rather than Peach’s.

Also a part of S.A.S.S. Soundsystem alongside Saoirse and Moxie, they really are the effortlessly cool girls of the industry. Both have that deeply knowledgeable approach to music that makes you want to stick around for just one more tune.

Crazy P | Pikes Presents | 528 Ibiza

Tuesday 22 September

Pikes Presents has become one of those Tuesday night fixtures that I trust blindly. The bookers consistently pull out the stops, whether it’s a live show, a DJ set or something a little more unexpected. Crazy P feels like another perfect fit.

Though band’s story has taken a heartbreaking turn following the tragic passing of frontwoman Danielle Moore, the spirit of Crazy P lives on in her memory.

Their music has always had that rare ability to sit somewhere between Disco, House, Funk and something completely their own, and the legacy they’ve built over the years is huge. A September Tuesday spent at 528 Ibiza sounds pretty perfect to me.

Dusky | 555 | Cova Santa

Wednesday 23 September

Revered for their live sets and hits that defined a whole era of dance music, production heavyweights Dusky are used to arena-sized shows, huge festival stages and crowds numbering in the thousands.

Therefore, seeing them play within the intimate confines of Cova Santa for Sam Divine's 555 feels like a rather special change of scenery. With only two dates on the island this summer, this is a rare opportunity to see the them perform on Ibiza. The perfect way to end the summer.

September is all about these sorts of moments for me. Less about chasing the biggest acts and more about catching artists you might not get the chance to see again.
