Benin-born, New York-based AMÉMÉ is on somewhat of a roll.
On the road, he continues to secure spots on the world's most prestigious stages. This year alone, he's clocked sets playing before David Guetta at [UNVRS], and hosting One Tribe truck event at Rave the Planet in Berlin.
Naturally, though, we're far more interested in his Cova Santa residency, One Tribe.
Wherever he plays, AMÉMÉ'S charisma and boundless energy sets him apart. But judging by his picks in his island highlights, we reckon his taste is just as exemplary.
Beachside lunch
If I want seafood and a long lunch by the water, I love going to Ses Boques in the cove of Es Cubells. It’s very relaxed, right on the beach and the food is always great. For me, this is one of those places where you can easily stay for hours without really noticing the time.
Afternoon shopping
Antonioli Ibiza is always a place I like to visit when I'm in Ibiza for shopping. They have a very specific selection and I usually find something there that I wouldn’t see everywhere else. It just fits right into my style.
Sunset spot
Hostal La Torre is ne of my favourite places to watch sunset. I’ve been there many times and it still gets me every time.
Go early, have a drink, stay for dinner and just enjoy the view and the energy.
Evening meal
Can Muson de Sa Vila is one of my favourite places to eat on the island. It might look very simple whilst also being a little hidden, but the food is incredible. I love places that don't need to do too much and just get the important things right. Can Muson de Sa Vila is one of them.
Party spot
This summer, Cova Santa has obviously become very special to me because every Thursday I have my One Tribe residency there.
I love the way the venue changes throughout the night. You arrive while it’s still daytime, everything starts outside and slowly the whole place turns into a completely different world.
For me One Tribe is also about much more than just the music. It’s about bringing different people, cultures and energies together, and Cova Santa really gives us the space to do that.
AMÉMÉ presents One Tribe at Cova Santa is already underway with just two dates left, 20 and 27 August.
