BBC Radio 1 Dance X expands Ibiza schedule to [UNVRS], Ushuaïa & Hï Ibiza

Whether you're one of the many thousands who'll be descending on the island in the coming week or one of the many more back at home who'll be living vicariously through the radio, BBC Radio 1 Dance's annual Ibiza trip is upon us.

This year, it takes place between Friday 31 July and Sunday 2 August.

While the main Radio 1 party has been in the public domain for some time, we can now reveal the rest of the schedule.

In addition to Friday daytime at 528 Ibiza, three more parties have been added, each taking place at a different island location and spread across the entire weekend.

After 528 Ibiza finishes, you can continue the party on Friday night at Dom Dolla's residency (pictured above) at Hï Ibiza. He'll be joined by KI/KI, Dean Turnley and Anna Lunoe in The Theatre, while Scot rave hero Ewan McVicar plays back-to-back with Dart all night long in the Club Room.

The following day, more daytime action is cued up as Radio 1 makes its annual pitstop at Ushuaïa for ANTS. This year, Cloonee and Sosa lead the line-up with Julian Fijma and Emma 2000 on support. The station's Sarah Story represents the R1 family.

Finally, things culminate on Sunday night with Mr Essential Mix himself, Carl Cox (pictured below).

Nobody has contributed more mixes to the long-running series since it started in 1993. We can normally bank on him popping up once a year on average, including last year's vinyl-only mix recorded at [UNVRS]. Now, it seems like we'll be getting one more in the not-too-distant future.

Coxy invites Syreeta, TSHA, Nakadia, Skepta (DJ set) and other members of the Más Tiempo family.

While none of the above will be broadcast live, you can expect many of the sets to be recorded and replayed on-air in the weeks to come.

Even if you can't make it this year, you'll still be able to experience some of the magic.

It goes without saying, if you really want to be a part of it, you'll need to be here on the island.
