All night long sets are increasingly a rare breed on Ibiza in the modern era, but that's exactly what German Trance legend Markus Schulz has in store this summer.
Kicking off on Thursday 27 August and running for the following five weeks, unicorn slayer Schulz takes the reins at Eden Ibiza for a special residency called Open To Close.
Lauded for his ability to sculpt a highly memorable dancefloor narrative, Schulz’s open-to-close all-nighters don't entertain quick-fire hits. Instead, consider them slow burn storytelling with ebbs and flows throughout each night.
With no handovers and no time limits pressures constricting the performance, the night unfolds naturally by design, building atmosphere and momentum from the first record to the last.
You can expect deep, progressive grooves, driving Trance energy, signature euphoric moments and emotional melodies that have built him a truly global following.
For Schulz, Ibiza has always held a special place in his musical story. "I'm delighted to return with a new residency on the island - spanning five consecutive weeks in August and September. Every occasion will be a signature open to close experience; a journey where meaning matters."
Hosting the series is Eden - a club that boasts one of the most powerful sound systems on the island in the formidable Void Incubus Gold. In other words, a proper chest-rattler of a set-up.

This is the latest revelation from the 2026 season that points to an Ibiza Trance revival, joining news of Tiësto's return to the both the genre and the island, coupled with the 25th anniversary of Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance.
Open To Close has its 25 September closing party during annual meet-up Ibiza Trance Event (ITE) week. That scheduling is no coincidence.
