After last year's standalone date during Ibiza Trance Event (ITE) week, German Trance heavyweight Markus Schulz is returning to Eden Ibiza in 2026 for a series of five called Open To Close.
Known for his serious, darker take on Trance music or "Tech-Trance" as it is sometimes referred to (whilst vowing to "slay unicorns" - the cheesy, overly sentimental end of the spectrum), Markus Schulz has often felt like he is raging a one-man mission to restore credibility to the genre and return it to its glory days. Open To Close is his opus.
Playing from start to finish, Markus will be the sole driver at the wheel, steering the dancefloor from the midnight all the way through to the first rays of light as the sun comes up.

Markus Schulz: Open To Close takes place weekly from Thursday 27 August to Thursday 17 September and then has one last outing on Friday 25 September during this year's ITE.
