Taking place in its traditional mid-May timeslot, Slipmatt's Balearic beano Slip Back In Time presents Old Skool Ibiza returns for its 2026 edition. Based in San Antonio Bay, the week-long excursion is a much-loved jolly with a loyal fanbase and reliable return-to-service.
The faithful that make up Slip Back In Time’s core are part of the original Acid House generation. Some of them may now be advancing in years, but their enthusiasm for a good party is yet to be dimmed.
They come from an era where the tribalism that exists today was largely absent. When they first cut their teeth on the dancefloor in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, it wouldn’t have been unusual to hear a mixture of genres in one sitting. House, Techno, Breakbeat, Jungle and Chill Out all came together under one roof in the melting pot of “Rave”.
It’s this open-arms mentality that persists to this day. No gate-keeping and no judgement. You are unlikely to find a more welcoming - and up-for-it - crowd.
Slip Back In Time is all about maximum fun and no pretense. Good vibrations all round.
