Nope, you are not mistaken. We really have reached that time of year again. Peak summer is almost behind us, September is nearly here and chat surrounding closing parties starts to become very real.
Without doubt, this is the best time of the season to experience the world's favourite party island. The high temperatures have eased off, the boisterous younger tourists have gone home and island promoters pull out all the stops to programme the best parties of the year.
We just love September.
The weeks ahead are packed with fiercely competitive line-ups, and there's a lot to get through. To make things easier, here's our guide to the first round of closing parties taking place between 26 August and 15 September.

Calvin Harris | Ushuaïa Ibiza
Tuesday 26 August
Brainteaser: When is a closing party, not a closing party?
Answer: when it continues on another day of the week, obviously! Okay, so maybe Calvin Harris' last Tuesday falls a little short of the exact definition. Then again, it is still the last one, so technically... and who wouldn't want two closing parties?
Don't worry if you miss out. You can still catch the EDM superstar on Fridays for another few weeks.
Line-up: Calvin Harris, Oliver Heldens

Anyma | [UNVRS]
Tuesday 26 August
Since he broke away from Tale Of Us to launch a solo career, Anyma has stood at the forefront of innovation. His shows are spectacles in and of themselves. No wonder his Tuesday night residency at technologically-advanced [UNVRS] has proven such a hit with tourists.
It might only have been a short run, but that didn't stop Anyma making his mark felt. Odds are the closing party will be stealing headlines for weeks afterwards. Prepare to be amazed.
Line-up: Anyma, Dom Dolla, Kevin de Vries, Cassian

Music On Daytime | Destino Five Ibiza
Thursday 28 August
Marco Carola's Music On Daytime at lavish hangout Destino Five Ibiza continues to be one of Ibiza's best-loved open-air parties. Being a mecca for lovers of Tech House, each instalment of Music On has seen mass turnouts. Nothing will change for the closing.
Expect a full house, especially since the comeback prince Michael Bibi is Carola's huge guest of honour. If you haven't scored your ticket already, time is running out.
Line-up: Marco Carola, Michael Bibi, Ale De Tuglie, Da Vid

Boiler Room | Amnesia
Thursday 28 August
One of this summer’s most refreshing additions to Ibiza’s club circuit has been Boiler Room at Amnesia. Whether on the Terraza or in the Main Room, the genre-fluid live stream concept has left a real mark on the White Isle with a slew of leftfield bookings.
Already this summer, it has flown in Bicep, Chase & Status, Giggs and The Streets. Honestly, where else on Ibiza would you catch names like these?
For the closing party, Boiler Room hands the reins to Sammy Virji, who'll be joined by friends, peers and acquaintances for a full-throttle night covering Speed Garage, Trance, House and so much more.
Line-up: Sammy Virji, DJ Heartstring, Joy Orbison, Faster Horses, Peach, Chloé Robinson

DJ Harvey presents Phoenix Rising | 528 Ibiza
Saturday 30 August
Bad news: DJ Harvey is reducing his previously announced Ibiza appearances. Good news: the biggest and glitziest of all is still happening.
Celebrating ten years of Harvey's boutique party at Freddies, Mercury Rising, Phoenix Rising sees the action stand up from its foundations and head 5 km due south before settling at 528 Ibiza. You can expect exactly the same vibe, just on a much bigger scale.
Harvey invites his close friend and co-troublemaker Artwork for a party that starts outside on the Garden Stage and ends in the revamped rabbit hole for an all-nighter. One for the musos, the Balearic old-timers and, we predict, there won't be a phone in sight.
Line-up: DJ Harvey, Artwork

Kygo | Ushuaïa Ibiza
Sunday 31 August
Norwegian popstar Kygo was sorely missed last summer, so we've been basking in the warm glow his presence has brought on his return in 2025. Guaranteed to play all his chart hits in the sunshine in front of an up-for-it crowd, you can't get much more tropical than Kygo at Ushuaïa.
Line-up: Kygo, Sam Feldt, Matt Sassari

Eric Prydz presents Holosphere 2.0 | [UNVRS]
Monday 1 September
Production specialist Eric Prydz was always a frontrunner for a residency at boundary-pushing [UNVRS], so it came as little surprise when he made the switch from Hï Ibiza to Ibiza's newest nightclub. But that's where the inevitabilities ended.
Holosphere 2.0 has wowed audiences with its audio-visual feast all summer and now it must draw to a close. Get ready for one last white-knuckle ride on the dancefloor.
Line-up: Eric Prydz, Rivo, Bender

Outset Ibiza | Eden
Tuesday 2 September
Outset Ibiza might be an outlier, but it is steadfast in its mission to bring harder dance styles to the White Isle. Now well established at Eden in San Antonio, summer number three saw Outset stamp its authority, ascending to become one of Eden's most bankable nights.
Others came and attempted to take market share away from the Irishmen, but most fell by the wayside while Outset stood tall in defiance.
Line-up: Black Traffic, blk., M_UNKNOWN_D

Cosmic Pineapple 10th Anniversary | Cova Santa
Wednesday 3 September
While curator Kim Booth has pursued other creative and holistic outlets in 2025, including overseas, this is Cosmic Pineapple's only party outing this summer - but it's a big one. The inimitable Skream is booked for the 10th birthday party, alongside returning Cosmic favourites.
Devout followers of the festival-like parade know that this is more than just a party; it's a community. Become immersed in a cosmos of deeply hypnotic electronic music, artistic displays, local craft stalls and guided healers.
Line-up: Skream, Osunlade, Mathew Jonson (live), Cici

Dom Dolla | Hï Ibiza
Wednesday 3 September
When we visited Dom Dolla's night, one member of our team (mentioning no names...) claimed his eardrum burst. Not because of the music, but because of the crowd reaction when the host was spotted in the booth. It was hysteria.
Ten weeks since it opened, the Aussie is about to wrap up his debut island residency. We think it's fair to say he's enjoyed himself. Above all else, he proved that rocking a 'tache is still sexy. If you count yourself as one of his fans, there's nowhere else to be on 3 September.
Line-up: Dom Dolla, Green Velvet, LF System, Patrick Topping, Dombresky, Sante Sansone

Teletech | Amnesia
Thursday 4 September
2025 has been a summer of firsts for Amnesia. Last month, it bought LGBTQIA-promoter HOMOBLOC to Ibiza for the first time; this month, it's another Manchester staple: Teletech. Both rooms will be programmed to the hardest, fastest Techno imaginable. Not for the faint-hearted.
Line-up: Adrián Mills, Cloudy, Fantasm, Nico Moreno, Patrick Mason, Serafina, Fumi

Boat Club | O Beach Ibiza
Sunday 7 September
On 7 September, we're not so much as going below deck, but overboard as Boat Club returns to O Beach. The fifth and final nautical outing sees the crew sail back into the calm waters of San Antonio's most famous beach club.
Drop anchor, get yourself a beverage and report to the dancefloor. Party, ahoy!
Line-up: Harty, Jordan Valleys, Michael Younger, Sonny Kane, Will Wakeford

John Summit | Ushuaïa Ibiza
Tuesday 9 September
After taking over Hï Ibiza on two dates earlier this summer, John Summit is back to wreak havoc in Playa d'en Bossa for another venue takeover.
This time, he lands at palatial outdoor super-club Ushuaïa. John will come loaded with a USB full of peak-time dancefloor bombs, as well as scores of screaming fans. Add Patrick Topping to the mix and you have uninterrupted bangers from evening through to the 23:00 curfew.
Line-up: John Summit, Patrick Topping

BBC Radio 1 Dance X | Amnesia
Thursday 11 September
Although BBC Radio 1's legendary weekender has already been and gone in 2025, the irrepressible R1 Dance Family have found a gap in their schedule allowing them to return for an encore. For one night only, BBC Radio 1 Dance X invites Rudimental to headline Amnesia.
The Terrace focuses on bass-styles, while the soundtrack in the Main Room will be much like Friday night's dance music marathon on the station itself.
Line-up: Rudimental (DJ set), Special Request, Eliza Rose, LaLa, Arielle Free, 4AM Kru
Calvin Harris | Ushuaïa Ibiza
Friday 12 September
If you didn't really classify the last Tuesday as Calvin Harris' closing party (we didn't either!), then it's an open-and-shut case on this occasion. The literal last one, regardless of the day of the week. After this is through, we'll be seeing Calvin Harris next in summer 2026.
Line-up: Calvin Harris, MK

Steppers Isla Blanca | 528 Ibiza
Friday 12 September
Five years ago, all of us had quite a different summer with lockdowns and social distancing the "new norm". Thankfully, it all feels like a distant memory now. While recalling that dark time sends a shiver down the spine of most, it wasn't without its heroes.
One name that rose to prominence in the Covid era was Continental GT. Now, the viral sensation is bringing his own party to Ibiza for the first time. Steppers Isla Blanca arrives at 528 Ibiza as the latest one-off in Electric Ibiza's season of events.
Line-up: Continental GT, Hitty, Kieron Dacapo

Billy Gillies | Ibiza Rocks
Monday 15 September
Just like it always seems to, in 2025, Ibiza Rocks displayed its foresight for picking up the most exciting free agents just on the cusp of blowing up. Along with Morgan Seatree, Billy Gillies was part of the class of '25 who debuted this summer but is destined for the very top.
Considering the "home of pool party" counts Sonny Fodera, Ben Hemsley and Becky Hill amongst its alumni, Billy is in good company. The bookers certainly have an eye for talent.
Line-up: Bily Gillies, Luvstruck, special guest TBA

Klangkuenstler presents Outworld | [UNVRS]
Monday 15 September
With its weekly residencies starting to close, [UNVRS] diverts its programming to the demographic that September tends to attract. A run of standalone Mondays that cater to the Techno crowd starts with Klangkuenstler presents Outworld on 15 September.
Outworld will be brought to life by innovative lighting design built around a striking portal constructed with hundreds of LEDs, strobe effects and precision-aligned beams, creating a clubbing environment that breaks away from reality.
Line-up: Klangkuenstler

Nothing But Trouble | Eden
Monday 15 September
After pressing pause for the middle of summer, Daire is back for another round of troubling behaviour. Nothing But Trouble brings its second stint at Eden to a close with help from another of Belfast's biggest contemporary dance music exports, Trance Wax (AKA Ejeca).
True to its name, this one has "trouble" written all over it.
Line-up: Daire, Trance Wax
