San Antonio is a vibrant and lively resort, centered around a charming seaside fishing port and sport marina. Its continued popularity with holidaymakers of all ages shows it still rivals any other island destination.
The town features winding streets, open squares, and stunning sea views that are especially beautiful at sunset. Al-fresco terraces throughout the area provide perfect spots for dining, relaxing, and people-watching.
The restaurants celebrate cuisines from around the world, from Chinese to Italian, with plenty of Mediterranean options and fusion dishes in between.
San Antonio's compact size makes it ideal for wandering - you can explore the sunny promenade, lively squares, and discover hidden bars and restaurants tucked away in cobbled side streets.
This is a town that really deserves its place on the gastro map, and we’re about to show you why.
High-end

Housed in an unconsecrated 16th-century church just outside San Antonio, Sa Capella is dining in possibly the finest of Ibiza's interior locations. Here, you can dine within the stunning stone walls of this beautiful chapel, or feast outside on the picturesque terrace. A place to romance without a doubt.

Still on the outskirts, but this time just by the beautiful Cala Gració bay, Teyo at the five-star residence of OKU Ibiza, brings Japanese fine-dining fusion to the table. From your seat in the Japanese minimalist garden, you can gaze onto the open-plan kitchen as the chef skillfully prepares your culinary creation.
For a full immersion, try the Omakase experience. A 10-course tasting menu, designed by the head chef and made with seasonal products. Culinary craftsmanship at its finest.
Back in town and set in a stunning rustic interior, almost hidden away from the bright lights of San Antonio, Es Ventall is a family-run restaurant that wows with every dish. Its menu offers a 21st-century twist on traditional Ibizan cuisine with innovative dishes from the island’s rich culinary history - one that’s leaps and bounds above the rest.
Mid-range
Let's begin with tapas...
Tapas Ibiza does exactly as it says on the tin and very, very well. Every dish is beautifully made and incredibly moreish. So why stop at one when there’s a whole menu to try? They’ve even got the vegans well covered - trust us when we say the vegan aioli with gluten-free bread is one worth swapping sides for.
Conquering the Spanish, the Tapas Team has now adventured into Greece, creating Aragma, in a prime location of San Antonio. This contemporary Greek and Mediterranean tapas restaurant has delicious dishes just ideal for sharing, along with sparkling views of the marina.

We continue sharing as we head to the winding backstreets. First stop, one of the town's oldest and most authentic tapas bars in San Antonio, Rincón de Pepe Restaurant. A few seats line the small outside terrace, but inside, it still lives and breathes in tradition. Select from the hot and cold tapas menu, as you sip on your evening's vino tinto. If you’re lucky enough, you may even catch some live music alongside.
Just around the corner and under the gaze of the stone church walls, Es Verro has taken traditional tapas and intertwined it with tasty Thai flavours. Its dedication to creating both experiences so deliciously does not go unnoticed by its fans. Dip between your padron peppers and Bangkok chicken for a flavour-filled and unforgettable trip around the world.
Remember when ordering tapas, don’t let your eyes be bigger than your belly. Or your budget for the night might tip the scales.

Chinese food never tasted so good as it does at sophisticated hotspot Chi Kee Wun, trust us on that! Rich, imaginative, and beyond sweet, delicious dishes, served in standout surroundings, try their Premium Tasting Menu, it's well worth the extra spend.
Further along the marina, you’ll find The Skinny Kitchen. Serving healthy breakfast, brunch bowls, burgers, and a whole heap of goodness from morning to night. For those who like a side order of naughtiness with their nutrition, the cocktail menu is pretty fantastic too.
Towering imperiously over the harbour road, Villa Mercedes makes its presence known before you’ve even stepped inside. Set in beautifully landscaped gardens overlooking the boats in the marina, you can dine on exquisitely presented Mediterranean dishes, delivered with impeccable service.

Continuing towards the little bay of Caló des Moro, Monkey Ibiza feels aptly named, with its beautiful high terrace providing expansive sunset views. Bringing Parisian sophistication to the Sunset Strip, it's become a showstopper with its simple yet stunningly executed menu, great music, and weekly cabaret nights.
Behind the main Sunset Strip venues, you'll find another gem, Es Gerret. You could always visit alone, but the ethos here is to eat and share good times with friends. The generously portioned, modern tapas dishes are created with panache and finesse, making this restaurant a continuously popular spot with locals and holidaymakers alike.
Back in the centre of town, Sushimi has begun a sushi revolution from its cute but incredibly creative dining house. Incorporating Mediterranean flavours with traditional Japanese delicacies, they bring a bold new approach to the cuisine. Chopsticks at the ready for this one.

Holding court on the sunset promenade, Café Mambo delivers incredible views, ambience, music and the perfect accompanying menu. Burgers, salads, fresh fish and juicy steaks will all fight for your attention, should you find a moment to take your eyes from the incredible sunset view before you.

Back portside, Rita’s Cantina is a San An classic that, despite its unchanging menu, is often packed to the rafters with international guests. As the saying goes, ‘If it ain't broke, don’t fix it’ and although its menu offers mostly breakfast and Indonesian lunch options, it stays popular until nightfall.
Fancy visiting another corner of the world? If so, then Mundo Street Food should be next on your travel list. With its mouth-watering twist on international cuisine, whatever you order from the menu - breakfast, lunch, or dinner - just don’t forget a side of Massaman wedges. You can thank us later.
For those craving authentic Italian pizza and shawarma, Es Mirai is your place. Close enough to - almost - catch the sunset at Caló des Moro, this excellent pizzeria has stunning garden dining, hosted by some of the nicest Italians in Ibiza.
