Lovers of wind/wave/human-powered water sports should head to the pretty, family-friendly beach of Cala Martina, headquarters of Wet4fun Ibiza. These water lovers offer the full range of equipment rentals and introductory courses, including: catamarans, windsurfing, kayaking, Stand Up Paddles, and battery-powered turbine surfboards. The most adventurous can up adrenaline levels a notch by taking part in one of the company's guided cliff jumping tours.

Kayak ibiza

Kayak Ibiza, based at the quiet cove of Es Figueral, will take you on a guided tour of discovery in the crystal-clear waters of this quiet stretch of coastline. Choose between solo and tandem kayaks or Stand Up Paddle boards to row your way out on these adventurous trips to some of the best snorkelling spots on the island. Tours last three hours and leave at 10.00 on Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays.

Santa Eulalia Ferry to Formentera

Take a day trip to the magical neighbouring island of Formentera with the Santa Eulalia Ferry Company. Picking up at the resorts of Es Caná, Cala Pada and Cala Llonga, as well as Santa Eulalia port, this is a fun, friendly crossing aboard the Capità Jack catamaran. Acrobosc Ibiza Adventure Park

Energetic adventurers young and old will love to swing into action among the treetops at Acrobosc Ibiza Adventure Park, Ibiza's only aerial assault course. Rope ladders, scramble nets and zip lines are spread over three routes suitable for all levels of skill, from age three years upwards all the way to adults. It's a great adventure for the entire family, plus you can keep cool under the pines when you need a rest in between.

Golf Ibiza

Golf lovers will thoroughly enjoy a round at one of Ibiza's best-kept secrets, Golf Ibiza, the only golf club on the island. Two picturesque and well-tended courses, with lovely views of the countryside and coastline make it a golfer's dream. Ibiza's hippy markets

Almost every intrepid traveller who visits Ibiza makes at least one pilgrimage to the famous hippy markets, which preserve the bohemian heritage of the island. Both of the biggest markets are situated in the Santa Eulalia area: Las Dalias market in San Carlos and the original hippy market at Punta Arabí. Pass away the hours browsing the mind-boggling array of artisanal crafts, handmade clothes and jewellery, all the while accompanied by live music and the whiff of incense and herb.

Tourist Train

The fun Tourist Trains are the most leisurely way to see the sights of the east coast and the pretty villages of the Santa Eulalia area. Rides typically last up to three hours and you will stop off to stretch your legs in picturesque spots or lovely beaches along the way. Departing from Santa Eulalia, Es Caná and Es Figueral, the Tourist Train is also a great way to visit one of the hippy markets without the hassle of parking or public transport, so check your timetables here.

La Bella Verde
