Getting there: Reached by foot or bicycle from Es Caná, only a short stroll away. If driving, parking is very limited, so try to park at the entrance to Es Caná market and walking from there. During the summer season Wednesday is hippy market day, meaning there is lots of traffic and you will have to park in the car parks opposite the market or close to Chirincana campsite.
At the southern end of the popular resort of Es Caná, on the road which leads to the Es Canar True Hippy Market, you'll find the pretty sandy beach of Cala Martina. It is next to a campsite and backed by nice beach bars and restaurants, as well as some low holiday apartments.
With excellent water sports facilities and a very sheltered beach, it's ideal for all the family. Owing to its shallow waters and the absence of riptides and waves, Cala Martina is a great beach for the kids.
It's unusual to find Cala Martina crowded, even in the height of summer. As a result, it offers a nice quiet atmosphere enjoyed by locals and holidaymakers alike.
When the south wind blows, it becomes one of the most popular beaches with the island's windsurfers, suitable for all levels from expert to beginner.
Tip: If you like a stroll, take a walk along the coastline to the right - much of it shaded - that leads you along the coast past some beautiful houses to other small beaches and wooded areas. If you feel energetic enough, eventually you'll reach Santa Eulalia!

There are several restaurants and snack bars lining the beach. The bar next to the campsite often has live music in the evenings during summer. Alternatively, head to nearby Es Birra bar and restaurant for some live entertainment in the evening.
