Situated on the pretty Santa Eulalia seafront, Hotel Riomar Ibiza is the 4-star boutique hotel that seems to have it all. Along with its fantastic location, it offers stunning views, plush beach and poolside lounging, a beautifully furnished hotel, and daily entertainment and wellness offerings for guests.
It all sounds pretty dreamy, which is why we jumped at the opportunity to stay in the Hotel Riomar's company for the night.
Arriving in the mid-afternoon for check-in, we met the hotel’s manager, Tatiana, who explained the hotel's ethos. The intention: to create a haven, a peaceful retreat where tranquillity and relaxation are on tap. Anything else you may need is just a short walk away in Santa Eulalia Town, or can be arranged by the on-site concierge manager, Marcus.
Despite its 116 rooms and its place in the Marriott Tribute portfolio, the Riomar offers guests a boutique hotel experience. Its contemporary modern design is stylish without being overdone, and feels intimate whilst still offering a huge range of amenities to its guests.
Natural light fills the foyer, bar and lounge, with warm yellow and orange tones creating an inviting and relaxing atmosphere, complemented by artwork painted directly onto the walls. It's a warm space, with comfortable seating that gazes out through the large glass windows onto the alfresco dining terrace and sparkling sea beyond.
As lovely as this scene was, we needed to check out our room and prepare ourselves for a slow afternoon at the pool.
The hotel offers either mountain view or sea view rooms, ours being the latter, affording really incredible panoramic views from the lush green hillside, all the way to the edge of Santa Eulalia Town - not forgetting the glistening Mediterranean in between.

Back inside, our room continues with the clean aesthetic but this time in a fresh white, with sleek black furnishings. The room has everything you need to be comfortable, including air-con and a ceiling fan (very impressive to offer guests this choice of how to keep cool), a huge television, a kettle, a clothes steamer, a paid mini-bar, and our particular favourite, lovely towelling robes and slippers.
Next it was time to venture downstairs, for some poolside relaxation.
Surrounded by palm trees, cabana-style beds and the softest, plumpest loungers we’ve ever had the pleasure of lounging on.
The vibe was chilled but upbeat thanks to the cool House tracks playing in the background. For lunch, we opted for a spicy Bloody Mary and a spicy Moscow Mule (we’re both fans of a hot kick), balancing things out with fresh salmon poke bowl and piled-high pulled pork nachos.
As the hotel offers its sweet position right next to the Santa Eulalia sands, we decided to shift locations to continue catching our tan, and laze on a beachbed for the final stretch. This is one of the great bonuses of the hotel's facilities and positioning; whether you favour a pool or beach, they’re only a few steps away.
After a day in the sun, we went back to the room to catch the evening's sunset glow over the horizon. On the beach, the chatter of the final sun seekers and volleyball enthusiasts filled the air.
Soon it was time to refresh in the lovely waterfall shower, and slip back into our robes and slippers before our evening dinner and enjoy a glass or two of our complimentary cava.
For our evening meal we opted for a reservation at 20:00, so we could enjoy our dinner whilst being serenaded by the night's entertainment. The Ocean Brasserie really is a stunning setting; its tables along the wooden decking grant pretty views of the sparkling sea, as palm trees sway with the sea’s breeze, and families enjoy evening strolls along the promenade.
As beautiful as this was, the winning accompaniment to our dinner was the evening's musical offering. Every night, a different experience is offered, from Flamenco guitar to Cuban-themed nights and violin, which we were lucky enough to be there for.
As we tucked into our delicious cocktails, fresh Burrata salad, tuna tartar, and tender steaks, renditions of Avicii and David Guetta’s dancefloor hits took on a new life in the hands of the talented violinist.
It was an early rise for us the next day, as we prepared to visit the TRIBE wellness space for our morning yoga class. Centered around a large, shaded wooden yoga deck, the wellness space also offers yoga and Pilates classes (every day except Monday), massage treatments, a Lumi Therapy ice bath (with a sauna planned for 2027), and a 24-hour TechnoGym® gym just next door.
It’s also a beautiful space for workshops and regularly hosts yoga and wellness retreats, thanks to its tranquil ambience and these great facilities.
After an hour of deep breaths, long stretches, and beautiful drumming in the warm morning air, we were ready to start our day.
Before we get to the morning feast, it's worth noting that breakfast is available until 11:00. This extra time is a great guest offering, giving the opportunity to take the morning at a slower, relaxed pace.
Despite arriving close to this cut-off time (we were too busy lazing around in our robes again), all the stations were fully replenished, with a great selection of fresh fruit, sweet pastries, hams, cheese, and breads, plus eggs and all the hot trimmings you may need for a full English Breakfast. On top of this, fresh juice, pressed that morning on site, was also available. For coffee lovers, whether it's a latte, cappuccino, or straight-up espresso, there is a great menu of caffeine pick-me-ups available for free alongside your breakfast.
Guests have the option of dining in the restaurant, the doors open to the morning sun, or out on the breezy restaurant terrace. Shaded under large parasols, in the morning light, the Ocean Brasserie terrace is just as pretty as by evening candlelight, and the perfect way to close our time in the Riomar’s fantastic hospitality.

Positioned at the far end of the beach promenade, the Hotel Riomar Ibiza is just a few moments from the pretty town of Santa Eulalia, which you can spend hours exploring. The lovely, long sand beach runs all the way from the Riomar Hotels seafront entrance, along the pretty promenade, making it lovely for invigorating morning walks and relaxing evening strolls.
There are many great activities in the area to fill your days, including ferry trips that run directly to the stunning sister island of Formentera, and to the Wednesday Punta Arabí Hippy Market in Es Caná.
