Here we go, it's the twelfth day of Christmas and in Ibiza

Here we go, it's the twelfth day of Christmas and in Ibiza that can mean only one thing (I exaggerate for journalistic purposes) tomorrow is the start of the San Antonio annual fiesta!

Chock full of music, dance, sports, competitions, food and drink, until MARCH, I've extracted the highlights of the programme suitable for an international audience, which all take place in the town's marquee unless otherwise stated.

January
7th 22.30 – New Year Concert with Javier Chivite (baritone) and Elvira Ramon (piano)
8th 21.00 – Flower Power
15th 21.30 – 60's Festival and Concert with Sixto and Los Brincos (come dressed in the style of the 60ies!)
16th 16.00 – Kids festival with bouncy castles an pony rides
16th 16.30 – Trotting races at San Rafael racetrack
16th 20.00 – Cabaret and dancing with Passion Dance (Moulin Rouge, Las Vegas style)
16th 21.30 – Statuas de Sal live in concert
17th 13.00 – Blessing of the animals at the town hall
17th 18.00 – Family show with magic, circus, acrobats, dance and cabaret
21st 20.00 – Students' party with electronic music
22nd 22.00 – 80's & 90's party
28th 19.30 – Moroccan music live with 'Mouchabat' from Tetuan
28th 22.30 – Soul Explosion, live funk and soul plus DJs Javi Box and The Selectors
29th 22.00 – Rockabilly night with Tennessee, Carlos Segarra and The Mad Rumblers.
30th 10.30 – Es Porquet, cycling fiesta and fun for the totally unfit!

February
5th 11.00 – Moors and Christians parade (and other acts throughout the day)
5th 13.00 – Food and wine tasting with everything from Valencia
6th 11.00 – Kite flying festival at Ses Variades (Sunset Strip)
6th 11.30 – Hike to Santa Ines
12th and 13th – V Feria de Stocks: Big closing out sale in the marquee (the whole day)
19th 20.00 – Moonlight hike through the almond blossom to Santa ines

March
5th 20.00 – Mardi Gras Carnival in the West End
8th 17.00 – Mardi Gras parade around town
