Tucked away on an industrial site, on the outskirts of Ibiza Town, multi-functional NUI Ibiza launched in the wake of Veto Social Club's demise. The multi-purpose venue is a restaurant, art gallery and event space all under one roof with indoor and outdoor areas in Ibiza's burgeoning Art District.
In keeping with the aesthetic of the locale, the decor is reclaimed scrapyard metal, steel girders, exposed pipework and stacked monster truck tyres, hushly lit with Edison bulbs. The bar itself is cut from an old shipping container.
This harsh, rugged look gives the impression of a film set depicting a dystopian future - pretty cool.
Unlike the glitzy nightclubs that you will no doubt be overly familiar with, NUI Ibiza takes a different approach. With a style all of its own, NUI represents true underground clubbing attracting a sussed-up crowd of music lovers. Entry is affordable, the sound system on point and the booking handled with love.
