OffBeat closes this Friday with A Love From Outer Space

After a short break, the party returns to NUI for a winter opening on 6 October.

After delivering on its promise to return affordable, but in-credible underground warehouse clubbing back to Ibiza, OpenLab presents OffBeat closes for summer this weekend

The series at NUI Ibiza wraps up on Friday 1 September with A Love From Outer Space (AKA Sean Johnston - the late, great Andrew Weatherall's DJ partner).

Also playing is fellow Weatherall associate and cult selector Ivan Smagghe. Both will play extended sets.

Although this ends things for the time being, thankfully OffBeat is only taking a short break. The party is back from 6 October with a winter opening. Uruguayan Minimal master Nicolas Lutz is already locked in for that one.

Swimming against the tide, OffBeat sought to hit the reset button and bring back the original values that underpinned Ibiza's club scene in the early days.

Having brought the likes of Daniel Avery, Sofia Kourtesis, Paula Tape, Roman Flügel and Cinthie to Ibiza Town's art district (and each one for €20 tickets), we'd say it has achieved that goal.

This final summer party will be a defiant celebration of those principles. Furthermore, this party will be free admission all night long, so there really are no excuses not to get along and try it out.
