Sol d'en Serra Beach

Cala Llonga, Ibiza. A secluded beach next to Cala Llonga with a popular beach club, something really special.

Location: 2 km south of Santa Eulalia, near Cala Llonga
Facilities: Loungers, parasols, showers, toilets all in the restaurant
Activities: Nice food and relaxation!
Size: 300 metres long, 5 metres wide
Getting there: Car is the only way really, head for Santa Eulalia, then Cala Llonga beach and follow the road to Sol d'en Serra. It will take no more than 20 minutes from Ibiza Town. There is plenty of parking space.

Head for Cala Llonga, drive past the beach and at the end turn right up an uninspiring road that leads to the very inspiring beach cove Sol d'en Serra, defined by the restaurant Amante, which oversits this secluded area.

The beach itself is a small, rocky affair in a somewhat open cove partial to strong currents, both factors that make it unsuitable for children. Amante sits on a higher level than the sea with its own sandy areas with the obligatory sun beds ripe for lazing your days away and have a cocktail brought to you.

The cliffs above the beach and restaurant offer fantastic views over the Med and the southern coastline of Ibiza and the cove really feels like a private piece of paradise.

Beach bars and restaurants:

There is only one, but it's a good'un. Restaurant Amante is the main draw to Sol d'en Serra, a beautiful restaurant which also offers breakfast yoga sessions, outdoor film screenings and a cracking opening and closing party.
