ANOTR release third album two days out from [UNVRS] show with Marco Carola

Withness drops today, before the coming together of two scene giants on Sunday 14 June.

Two days out from their next [UNVRS] show, prolific Dutch producers ANOTR have released their latest studio album, Withness.

Out today, Friday 12 June, the twelve-track LP lands only sixteen months on from the duo's previous album On A Trip.

More pertinently, it arrives in time to add further hype to ANOTR's date with Marco Carola on Sunday 14 June at the world's first hyper-club. What was already shaping up to be one of the parties of the summer just escalated to a whole new level.

Personally, we are struggling to think of any artists who currently have the same forward-momentum that ANOTR do - at least when it comes to making music.

Following On A Trip's more experimental approach, Withness sees Jesse and Oguzhan make a conscious return to their dance music roots. That's not to say their sound hasn't been refined yet again. What it does mean is that this project is much more dancefloor-focused.

That bodes well for Sunday. We're well up for a dance.

Marco Carola has been inviting ANOTR to play at his Music On parties for the last several years. For them to now be able to return the favour points to how high their profile has shot up in the same amount of time. In addition to Carola, ANOTR are joined by Bontan, Bella and Fletch.

Talking of the album, ANOTR said "The memories you make with people; they're the witness of those moments. Withness is about being in it together."

Right, then. Who's looking forward to making some new memories at [UNVRS] this weekend? Us, for starters.

Withness is out now via No Art and is available to stream and download at all reputable online platforms.

Meanwhile, the last remaining tickets for Sunday at [UNVRS] can be picked up below or by visiting our party calendar.
