Swiss duo Adriatique bring their acclaimed audio-visual concept to [UNVRS]

This September, Swiss Melodic Techno favourites Adriatique bring their acclaimed audio-visual concept X to Ibiza's [UNVRS] for an exclusive two-night run on 17 and 24 September. The pair of Thursday takeovers are the perfect match for the world's most cutting-edge nightclub.

If you were at Anyma's opening party last summer, you’ll remember Adriatique's back-to-back as one of the residency's defining moments. This time, however, they’re back with a concept entirely their own, facilitating access to a world that's been carefully crafted over the past decade.

Launched in 2022, X represents the culmination of their evolution as artists.

Given the duo's ambition, this was never going to be a standard club night. Rather, it’s a project where music, art and technology intersect.

Each edition of X has been shaped around its surroundings, with cinematic visuals and precision lighting designed to amplify the emotional pull of Adriatique's sound. Already, the duo have taken the concept to some wild locations

Not many artists can boast performances at UNESCO World Heritage-adjacent landmarks and globally iconic sites. It has already visited the vast marble quarries in Greece and the pyramids of Giza, as well as transforming the skyline at Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour in both 2024 and 2025.

[UNVRS] is designed for scale while preserving authentic club energy, making the party a natural fit.

It's highly likely X will be a contender for one of the season's most immersive productions, pairing sweeping visuals with the slow-burning, hair-raising emotional build-ups that Adriatique have made their signature.

For two nights only, the hyper-club will becomes Adriatique's canvas. This is a deep dive into their world.

'x' might be staking a claim for being the most popular letter of the decade, but Adriatique's usage has nothing to do with tech rebrands or billionaire's 4AM brainstorms. Though, in this case, it really does feel like x marks the spot.
