Super-producer David Guetta has form for collaborating with some of the most decorated Pop stars of the 21st Century. Now he can add another to his enviable list. Last Friday, the Ibiza legend released a new single with none other than Jennifer Lopez.
The two global icons of the Pop world unite on Save Me Tonight, which you can listen to in its entirety above.
Collaborations don't get any bigger than this. Save Me Tonight combines skyscraping vocals, widescreen emotion and propulsive rhythms in a call to embrace connection on the dancefloor.
Fans have been clamouring for the single to drop since J'Lo teased it during her set at World Pride Music Festival last summer. Despite the wait, it lands at the perfect time, syncing with the next phase of her glitzy Las Vegas residency, THE JLO SHOW.
We might not get to Vegas ourselves, but it seems probable Save Me Tonight will be difficult to avoid. It's fair to say we'll be hearing this one lots on Ibiza this summer.
Definitely at David's self-styled daytime party F*** ME I'M FAMOUS!, which takes place every Monday at Ushuaïa Ibiza from 1 June to 5 October. Here, David is known to play a highlight reel of his most loved music.
Essentially, it's a David Guetta concert for 7,000 screaming fans each week.
Whilst it will surely need a high-tempo club edit, it could well find its way into his sets at his second island residency, Galactic Circus, at [UNVRS] on Friday nights too.
All we really need is for J'Lo to show up here unannounced, and that would really be something worth shouting about. Now there's a thought! Keep your fingers crossed.
