Balearic Day on Ibiza

1 & 2 March

Balearic Islands Day is the occasion of events and activities across the islands. Enjoy the spectacle of parades of farmers carts, traditional dances ( ball payés), the opportunity to sample tasty local fare, as well as children's activities and workshops.

Patrimoni Gastronomic - International cuisine tasting

Throughout March

Running throughout the month, the 'Patrimoni Gastronòmic' contest - which takes place in Ibiza Town - offers themed menus that highlight the gastronomy of countries and cities around the world that - like Ibiza - have been awarded World Heritage status by UNESCO. Head for the island's capital to chow down on some specially prepared international cuisine and celebrate Ibiza's illustrious status at the same time for a fixed price of €30.

Pintxa San Antonio food festival

Every Thursday from 5 March until 2 April, from 19:00

March is the month for Pintxa San Antonio, the much-loved annual tapas route that brings together around 20 local bars and restaurants. Each Thursday until early April, venues serve creative pintxos or tapas paired with a drink and - best of all - at accessible prices. Hop aboard the tourist train to explore participating spots and sample a wide range of flavours in this sociable, town-wide culinary celebration.

Activa't Portmany Job Fair

San Antonio Town Hall presents a new edition of the Activa’t Portmany Job Fair at Ses Païsses Sports Centre on 6 March. Aimed at job seekers from across the island, the event offers more than 1,200 vacancies spanning hospitality, retail, transport and healthcare. Attendees can take part in interviews, practical workshops and CV guidance sessions, making it a valuable springboard ahead of the season.

Fira des Gerret

Saturday 7 March, from 12:00

Santa Eulalia celebrates one of the Balearics’ most traditional ingredients with its annual Fira des Gerret. Bars and restaurants across town showcase their own recipes using this locally prized fish, turning Calle San Jaime into a lively culinary hub. Expect live music, street atmosphere and plenty of opportunity to sample creative takes on a winter staple at this popular community food fair.

Cursa per la Dona

On 8 March, the Cursa per la Dona returns to mark International Women’s Day with a 4.3 km race starting from Figueretas. Open to individual runners, pairs and children, the event also includes a non-competitive walk over the same distance. With proceeds supporting a metastatic breast cancer charity, it combines sport, solidarity and community spirit in a meaningful island gathering.

Cursa de Passeig a Passeig

Sunday 15 March, from 10:00

The iconic Cursa de Passeig a Passeig returns on 15 March, linking Ibiza Town and Santa Eulalia in a popular island sporting fixture. Participants can run 15 km or a shorter mini race, skate the full distance or cycle in a relaxed, non-competitive ride. Open to all ages and abilities, it offers an energetic way to enjoy the outdoors and connect two promenades in motion.

Santa Eulària se’n Ocupa

Thursday 12 - Friday 13 March, from 09:00

Santa Eulària se’n Ocupa employment fair is held this month, connecting companies with job seekers from across the municipality and the wider island. Designed to encourage direct contact, the event centres on short, three-minute express interviews where candidates can introduce themselves and submit CVs. It offers a focused, practical opportunity for those preparing for the season ahead.

TEDxIbiza – Thinking Cultura

TEDxIbiza returns with this year’s edition, Thinking Cultura, a full-day gathering dedicated to reflection, creativity and conscious culture. Bringing together 26 speakers from Ibiza’s local community and beyond, the event positions the island as a space for innovative ideas and thought-provoking dialogue. Taking place at the Palacio de Congresos de Ibiza in Santa Eulalia, it offers an 18+ audience a platform for inspiration and exchange.

Anyone for tennis! Cala Llonga is all set to host the Ibiza Beach Tennis Tournament, now extended with an additional day of competition. This year introduces a new BT10 event alongside a mixed category, adding further momentum to the programme. With national and popular categories open for registration, the tournament promises three days of spirited play on one of the island’s most scenic beaches.

Cicle Dies Musicals 2026

Every Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 6 March until 17 May, from 19:00

Running until 17 May, Cicle Dies Musicals 2026 brings 16 intimate concerts to venues across several municipalities. The programme spans classical, pop and other genres, showcasing local talent in distinctive island settings. By pairing varied musical styles with smaller-scale spaces, the series offers audiences a close-up experience while celebrating Ibiza’s diverse live music scene.

Eivissa Escènica presents Felt Oxytocin (Live)

Sunday 22 March, from 19:00

Part of the neo-classical ensemble Eivissa Escènica, the duo Felt Oxytocin launch a new concert series at Teatro Pereyra featuring Samuel Pérez (piano) and Carlos Vesperinas (cello). They will present their debut album 'Entre Ellas', which blends classical instrumentation with synths, guitars and field recordings. Today's performance, "Faith Converters", explores a classical repertoire alongside soulful boleros.

The Fallas of San Antonio

The town of San Antonio is celebrating the 25th edition of las fallas in Ibiza. This classic Valencian custom promises three days of parades, traditional dress, music and - above all - fireworks. Simply unmissable!

Cursa Patrimoni Eivissa

Taking place on 29 March, Cursa Patrimoni Eivissa celebrates Ibiza Town’s World Heritage status with a race through its most emblematic areas, including Dalt Vila, the port and the promenade. With distances for younger participants and a 10 km main race, the event combines sport with scenery, inviting runners of all ages to experience the city’s historic landscape in motion.

Cas Costas anniversary celebration

Much-loved grill restaurant Cas Costas celebrates its tenth anniversary with a freshly awarded Repsol Guide ‘Solete’ under its belt, recognising its Mediterranean spirit and culinary quality.
