Every year, 'Balearic Islands Day' is celebrated on 1 March and the Ibiza Council presents a wide variety of events. Numerous activities take place from 27 February to 2 March.
The main events are held on Friday, 1 March in Sant Jordi. Enjoy the parade of traditional carts, a speech by the president of the Ibiza Council and traditional dances, followed by a tasting of local products, and lots of activities and workshops for children.

Saturday 28 February - at Can Guerxo Pavilion. Illes Balears National 3x3 Basketball Open
Sunday 1 March
- Sa Blanca Dona Sports Pavilion. At 9:00 - 3x3 Basketball Tournament.
- San Antonio - From 9:30 to 15:00 - The Sa Pedrera Sports Centre hosts Motocross.
- Sant Rafel Hippodrome - From 10:00 - Open Chess Tournament.
- Sant Rafel Hippodrome, at 11:30 - Trot Trophy.
- Kiko Serra Municipal Field. At 12:30 - Inclusive 8-a-side Football Match.
- Sant Jordi. From 10:30 Handicraft market, traditional games, giants, inflatables, traditional folk dance, horse cart show and an acoustic concert by Reya Thomas at 13:00.
Thursday 05 March - The Can Jeroni Cultural Centre hosts a new edition of the Illes Balears Short Film Showcase.
Saturday, 07 March - music event 'Illes per la Cançó' will also be held in Es Caló de s'Oli.
