Balearic day on Ibiza

Celebrate the Día de les Illes Balears with activities for all the family.

On 1 March each year we celebrate the Día de las Islas Baleares. After two years without any festivities due to the pandemic, the Consell de Ibiza presends a great choice of events again for 2022 with lots of activities from 26 February to 12 March.

The main events will be held on Tuesday, March 1, at Passeig de ses Fonts in San Antonio. From 10.30 you can visit the craft show, witness the parade of cars and the speech of the president of the Consell de Ibiza. There will also be a popular dance exhibition and, starting at 13:00, a children's workshop with cane and vegetable fibers and another for typical musical instruments (at 16:00).

On the same day there will be a performance by the Magician Albert at 17:00 and a RELS concert at 18:30. In addition, the Sa Pedrera Sports Center will host the Base Motorcycling Day from 9:30 to 15:30.

On 3 March at 20:00, the Can Jeroni cultural centre will host the IV Festival of Short Films, screening short films.

The activities continue on 5 March in Santa Gertrudis with the Balearic Base Motocross Championship and in San Juan with 'Fútbol por la Igualdad'.

On 6 March there will be a sports day for all ages at the Hipodromo of San Rafael, with DJs, inflatable games, children's entertainment and food trucks. In addition, the Illes Balears de Trote Trophy will be held.

Also on 6 March, starting at 18:00, there will be concerts by Quin Delibat, LaCalle and Morning Drivers in front of the Santa Eulalia Town Hall.

On 12 March, the Cas Serres auditorium hosts the musical show 'Junts per la cançó'.
