To celebrate the International Women's Day (8 of March), the twelfth edition of the Cursa per la Dona (Ibiza Women's Race) is back in March.
Under the slogan "We are the revolution", the main objective of this race is to promote the practice of sport among women and girls as well as raising awareness of the importance of practising sport.
With three participation modalities (individual and in pairs -only women; and in mixed pairs -male and female), this popular event is open to anyone who wants to participate (there is even a children's category for those born after 2012). The race is 3500 m with start at 11:30 in front of Hotel Ushuaia.
Additionally, the non-competitive VIII Caminada per la Dona (Walk in Favour of Women) also takes place covering the same distance.
The registration fee is 3 € and all proceeds will go to the charity association AEMIF (Multiple Sclerosis Association of Ibiza and Formentera).
