Independent music platform OpenLab is starting a live concert series at the lovingly restored venue Teatro Pereyra this winter.
The programme kicks off with Nouvelle Vague on Friday 19 December, marking the first-ever island appearance from the French outfit.
Founded by Marc Collin and the late Olivier Libaux, the collective is best known for reimagining Post-Punk and New Wave classics through their distinctive bossa nova style.
Now, over two decades since their gold-certified 2004 debut became a modern classic, Nouvelle Vague mark its twentieth anniversary with a new world tour.
For this exclusive Ibiza performance, Nouvelle Vague will be joined by longtime collaborator Phoebe Killdeer & The Shift, before the night continues at an official after party at Café Pereyra, curated by DJ GUTS.
Staying true to OpenLab's commitment to innovation, his set is sure to bridge live performance and late-night club culture.
OpenLab CEO Quentin Chambers said, "OpenLab continues its mission to bring contemporary live music back into the frame in Ibiza. With Nouvelle Vague we have a timeless, unique and unmistakably musical band we think are the perfect fit for this beautiful venue and our community in Ibiza."
The event partners with local organisation EarthPercent Ibiza, with a share of ticket sales funding projects advancing sustainability and climate action on the island.
Door open from 20:00 with the show running from 21:00 until approximately 23:45. Tickets start from €25. The after party takes place downstairs from midnight until late.
