Ibiza Marina's glitzy nightspot Chinois welcomes underground heroes from SlapFunk Records later this month. A Funk-filled one-off label showcase takes place on Tuesday 16 September.
Born out of illegal raves in Utrecht, SlapFunk has grown into a Dutch powerhouse, known for storming the world's best clubs and dropping some serious underground heat.
Now based in The Netherland's capital, Amsterdam, the party is dedicated to platforming music that is especially difficult to ID, let only own a copy of. You can hear all of Minimal, House, Breaks and Dub at SlapFunk. As long as it frees minds and ignites dancefloors, anything goes.
Durign the course of the night, Dungeon Funk (Slapfunk co-founder Samuel Deep alongside Dungeon Meat AKA Tristan Da Cunha and Brawther) form a triple threat, and will go back-to-back-to-back.
Samuel Deep also goes back-to-back with Irish queen Saoirse, plus there are sets from top selectors Mella Dee b2b Laidlaw, Beeyou founder and LOCUS regular. Both of them are Chinois debutantes. Ibiza-raised island favourites Yass & Malí also return.
Tickets for this special night of underground music are on sale now, along with other parties in the Chinois Presents series. Up first is MoBlack, Kenya and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano on Friday 12 September. Find tickets for both parties below.
