Everyone enjoys a cocktail during summer - it's the perfect way to enjoy Ibiza.

Whilst on holiday most people would agree there is nothing better than sitting back and watching the world go by with a great well-mixed drink in hand. In summer, cocktails really are king.

There are plenty of places doing some extraordinary mixology with presentation to match all across Ibiza. Whether you like mojitos, margaritas, a gin and tonic with a delightful twist or something a bit more special, there's something to suit everyone's taste.

Here is our by no means exhaustive list of some of the best places to get a fantastic cocktail, ones that will inspire you to reach for the shaker and ice when you get back home.

Cala Bonita

Cala Bonita being right on the lovely S'Estanyol beach offers guests wonderful views of this lovely cove, seated in perfect tranquillity amidst its nautical, eco-chic-styled restaurant. Cocktails are both inventive and refined and the taste of each one we have tried is simply incredible. If you drink with your eyes, the presentation of these hand-crafted cocktails will leave you awestruck too.


Hidden away in the Ibizan countryside, the beautiful restaurant Bambuddha is a temple (quite literally) to fine dining and incredible cocktails. Each one is lovingly crafted with the freshest of ingredients. Try the "Full Moon" cocktail, a cool mixture of rum, green Chartreuse, banana liqueur and lime kiwi.

Nikki Beach IBIZA

Cocktails at this stylish and exquisite venue ooze sophistication. Nikki Beach Ibiza implores you to only tell your very best friends about it and when you get there, you will see why. Sipping a cocktail here with the incredible sea view amongst its jet-set clientele is as close to holiday bliss as you can possibly imagine. Look out for its multitude of day events with special deals on cocktails - you too can live the high life.

Amante ibiza

Amante Ibiza is a beach club where the breathtaking clifftop views add to the whole experience of the delicious cocktails served. Try the Mediterranean mojito or the love-inducing "Amante Passion" on one of the comfortable pouffes or deep sun loungers. Pop in here for cocktails at any time of day, add in some bar snacks or just have the perfect pre-prandial drink before lunch or dinner. You know you want to.

Las dos Lunas

Just outside San Rafael sits Las dos Lunas, a place where many a celebrity has stepped over its harlequin-tiled floor. The Two Moons Lounge, its cocktail bar is tended by handsome mixologists who make up everything from scratch from the mixers, juices and syrups. Cocktails made with love and passion. Try the "Mexico Caliente" or "electric" mojito to super-charge your night.

Café Mambo

One of the most famous bars in Ibiza, Café Mambo offers up a sweet selection of cocktails and mocktails. As day turns to night you can check out DJs from Labyrinth, Defected, Paris By Night and more pre-party sets to get you in the mood for an evening of clubbing. Whilst you enjoy the night time soundtrack, try the Mambo Mojito which is made with its own brand hierbas for a drink with an authentic taste of Ibiza.

Boutique hostal Salinas

Boutique Hostal Salinas is the perfect place to slip into before or after a soujourn on Las Salinas beach. Experienced bar staff make a great selection of cocktails - many say they make the best mojito on the island too. Try the Galician-food-themed restaurant and pair your food with one of its cocktails for a terrific drinking and dining experience in a hip setting.


Zela is place where attention has gone to craft cocktails that complement the Mediterranean-influenced Japanese food. Each of them have a different Japanese ingredient to enliven the details, such as yuzu juice or shiso syrup to make the drinks distinct. The “Lost Coconut”, a refreshing take on a piña colada is served in a fresh coconut shell or try the wonderfully bitter "Hattorei": ginger, grapefruit and an Earl Grey foam.


Brightly decorated and bursting with colour is Patchwork in the Sa Punta trio of restaurants. Lebanese food on the rooftop with sublime views of the walled citadel of Dalt Vila. Cocktails are brimming with fresh fruit and the gin and tonics are amongst the best of the island. You'll love the clever vessels in which these gorgeous mixed drinks are served. Taste and aesthetics aplenty.

With a location that offers a pool, tasty cocktails, great events and music, the Rooftop Nine terrace at the Sol House Ibiza hotel is one of San Antonio Bay's top bars. Soak up the sun's rays during the day, or enjoy golden sunsets with with live DJ sessions, enjoying one of its great cocktails, procured from its team of top mixologists.

STK Ibiza

This sexy steakhouse serves up more than just good meat. STK Ibiza in trendy Marina Botafoch is a place to drop by for its excellent cocktails on the Sunset Terrace. This year, it launched its new "giant" cocktails for sharing. Try the Belaire Monster, a three-litre Pornstar Martini with Magnum Belaire. Perfect to drink with good friends.


Peyote, a Mexican restaurant sited within the Nobu Ibiza Bay hotel is where you will find what is possibly the finest selection of Margaritas this side of the Atlantic, each made with a base of premium tequila, lime and Cointreau. All are strikingly different, from the chilli and passion fruit one to the one made with hibiscus and ginger with worm salt. Look out for the mezcal based Mexicolada too.


A spectaclar setting next to the Las Salinas salt flats is where you will find the Peruvian/Japanese fusion restaurant Coricancha. Cocktails are made with the visual and sensorial in mind, exploring the elements of air, fire, earth, water and ether. We recommend the Reyn Cocktail, a combination of gin, Earl Grey, citrus meringue and citronella bitters.

Experimental Beach

Right next to the long pebbly beach of Playa Codolar sits one of the most exquisite places to get a cocktail and watch a sunset of incredible colours. At Experimental Beach we recommend the Belza: gin infused with pink pepper, orange blossom, cucumber, pineapple, lime and green tea. That said, you won't be disappointed with any of this place's brilliant cocktails.

Bamboo Bar

If you like sunsets and lazing around, then Bamboo Bar is for you. Located on the Sunset Strip in San Antonio, it is the perfect place to sip on a great cocktail and watch the sun set. For those wanting an affordable venue, freshly-made mojitos are very keenly-priced. We recommend one of the "Tiki" selection for those that like a tropical twist.

Café Montesol

This location is the height of sophistication and one for those enjoy the glamourous life. Café Montesol is a great Ibiza Town venue to try some expertly-made cocktails that's open all year. Classic cocktails are done extremely well from the brilliant Cosmopolitan to the Negroni. It's Ibiza's oldest hotel and acts as the perfect springboard for drinks before dining, clubbing or loving.
