Santa Agnès is a wonderful place to visit in order to discover the real Ibiza, far away from the hustle-and-bustle of Ibiza Town and San Antonio. Do take a walk around near the village, as the surrounding countryside is simply breathtaking, with fields of orange, lemon and almond trees set against the deep, ochre-red of the earth and the many different greens of the pine trees.
The main day of the Fiestas de Corona takes place on 21 January. In the weeks around the 21 January, a diverse programme offers residents and visitors a complete catalogue of cultural and leisure activities, with gastronomic events, magic shows, guided walks, concerts and much more.
The highlights of the programme of events are:
- January 21: Rock Nights Party.
- January 22: Children's party and hot chocolate event.
- January 26: Nighttime walk 'Anem de lluna i mirem-nos sa flor'.
- January 27: Inauguration of the art installation 'Almond Trees by Li Ramet'.
- January 28: Apima de Corona Children's Party and Festa de s’Ametlla de Corona.
- February 10: Fourth edition of the Contest of sofrit pagès and cooking course.
- February 23-25: Festa de sa Sitja de sa Rota d’en Coca.
- February 11: XI Popular Race Flor d’Ametller.
- February 18: Play 'A Furious Mother' by the Molí Neighbors Association.
- March 3: Homage lunch for the elderly of Corona.
