Christmas officially begins in Ibiza Town on Saturday, 29 November with an opening ceremony at Parque Reina Sofía. At 18:30, the lights switch on and the “Building Christmas” show illuminates the park with videomapping, dancers, and acrobats. At 19:00, the inclusive Ibiza Love Retro party takes place at Vara de Rey.
The new Mercat Gastronòmic also opens on 29 November, running daily until 6 January from 12:00 - 16:00 and 19:00 - 23:00 at Vara de Rey, featuring ten culinary stalls and live music. The festive programme continues until 11 January with the Fun Fair.
Highlights include the Santa Claus parades on 23 and 24 December, the travelling concert Santa’s Band On The Road across different neighbourhoods, and a giant character photocall at the Santa Claus Cabin.
On 5 January, the Three Kings Parade reaches the port at 18:00, with accessible areas for people with reduced mobility or sound sensitivity.
On New Year’s Eve, activities begin with family pre-bells at the Mercat Gastronòmic from 11:00–12:00, followed by a party at Vara de Rey from 22:00–03:00. On 1 January, Figueretas hosts the first swim of the year and a chocolate treat at 12:00.

31 December – New Year’s Eve
- Family pre-bell ringing event at the Gastronomic Market (11:00–12:00).

- Figueretas hosts the traditional first swim of the year, followed by a chocolate treat at 12:00.
