Eivissa Clàssica returns with a new musical journey that moves between early music, Baroque, classical repertoire and contemporary creation. This year's programme brings together outstanding national and international artists and explores everything from the Baroque Mediterranean to the great sound worlds of Mussorgsky, Rimsky-Korsakov and Grieg, alongside a new multidisciplinary production created especially for the festival.
- Saturday 3 October, at 20:30 - 'Spiritillo Mediterraneo' at Can Ventosa cultural centre, a journey through the Baroque Mediterranean that combines historical music, improvisation, original arrangements and Mediterranean traditions performed on period instruments.
- Friday 23 October, at 20:00 - 'Los Mundos Idealizados' at the Sala Capitular-Ibiza Town Hall (Google maps), a musical journey featuring works by Mussorgsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Grieg and Julio Medaglia, performed by the El quintet de vent fusta.
- Sunday 15 November, at 12:00 - 'Basso + Basso' at the Sala Capitular at Ibiza Town Hall (Google maps), a unique programme centred around the violone and archlute, exploring Renaissance and Baroque repertoire through the rich sounds of these two rarely heard low-register instruments.
- Sunday 29 November, at 19:00 - 'Nomad' at Can Ventosa cultural centre, a multidisciplinary production combining live music, theatre and illustration that tells a story of freedom, solidarity and the power of art against the backdrop of the Spanish Civil War.
- Sunday 13 December, at 19:00 - 'Reimaginaciones' at Can Ventosa cultural centre, a creative dialogue between classical repertoire and contemporary imagination, bringing together works by Villa-Lobos, Bach and Ravel with original compositions and arrangements by Ahmed Alom.
