Long square in the old town of Ibiza, lined by trees, which blossom beautifully in all colors from pink to white during the summer months. In the centre you'll find a large statue in honour of the Ibizan general Joaquín Vara de Rey after whom the avenue is named.
Vara de Rey pedestrianised avenue is the heart of Ibiza Town, lined by shops, cafes and bars. At one end there is the oldest hotel of the island, which has been converted into the luxury 5-star Gran Hotel Montesol.
Right next to it you'll find the smaller but equally beautiful square Plaza del Parque.
